رعى وزير الحرس الوطني الأمير عبدالله بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز حفل تخريج الدفعة السادسة من برنامج القيادة والأركان والدفعة الأولى من برنامج الدراسات العسكرية المتقدمة بكلية الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز للقيادة والأركان.
وكان في استقباله لدى وصوله مقر الحفل نائب وزير الحرس الوطني الدكتور ناصر الداود، ورئيس الجهاز العسكري بوزارة الحرس الوطني الفريق الركن صالح عبدالرحمن الحربي، وقائد كلية الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز للقيادة والأركان اللواء الركن عبدالله صالح العنزي.
وألقى قائد الكلية كلمة عبَّر فيها عن سعادته وجميع منسوبي الكلية برعاية وزير الحرس الوطني لحفل التخرج، مثمناً الدعم الذي تحظى به الكلية منه ومشاركة الخريجين فرحتهم، مضيفاً أن عدد الدارسين في برنامج القيادة والأركان بلغ 126 دارساً من جميع القطاعات العسكرية والأمنية، و19 دارساً في برنامج الدراسات العسكرية المتقدمة من وزارة الحرس الوطني، إذ أمضوا عاماً دراسيّاً مليئاً بالمعارف والعلوم والتطبيقات الهادفة.
عقب ذلك دشّن وزير الحرس الوطني برنامج الماجستير في الدراسات الإستراتيجية «برنامج الحرب» بالتعاون مع جامعة الدفاع الوطني للقوات المسلحة، ليصبح ثالث برامج كلية الملك عبدالله بن عبدالعزيز للقيادة والأركان.
ونوه العقيد الركن عبدالرحمن المطيري في كلمة للخريجين بما تلقوه أثناء دراستهم من برامج أكاديمية وتدريبية مكثفة ومناهج حديثة، مشيداً بما تسلحوا به من علوم ومعارف تشكل نقطة جوهرية في حياة الضابط العملية.
بعد ذلك أُعلنت النتيجة العامة للخريجين، وكرم وزير الحرس الوطني المتفوقين، وحصل على المركز الأول وسيف الكلية المقدم الطيار علي بن حسن القحطاني من برنامج القيادة والأركان، وحصل على المركز الأول ودرع الكلية المقدم الركن الطيار عواد بن عودة المطرفي من برنامج الدراسات العسكرية المتقدمة.

The Minister of National Guard, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, sponsored the graduation ceremony for the sixth batch of the Leadership and Staff Program and the first batch of the Advanced Military Studies Program at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Leadership and Staff.
Upon his arrival at the ceremony venue, he was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of National Guard, Dr. Nasser Al-Dawood, the head of the military apparatus at the Ministry of National Guard, Lieutenant General Saleh Abdulrahman Al-Harbi, and the commander of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Leadership and Staff, Major General Abdullah Saleh Al-Anzi.
The college commander delivered a speech expressing his happiness and that of all the college staff at the Minister of National Guard's sponsorship of the graduation ceremony, appreciating the support the college receives from him and sharing in the graduates' joy. He added that the number of students in the Leadership and Staff Program reached 126 students from all military and security sectors, and 19 students in the Advanced Military Studies Program from the Ministry of National Guard, who spent a full academic year rich in knowledge, sciences, and purposeful applications.
Following that, the Minister of National Guard launched the Master's Program in Strategic Studies "War Program" in collaboration with the National Defense University of the Armed Forces, making it the third program at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz College for Leadership and Staff.
Colonel Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, in a speech for the graduates, highlighted what they received during their studies from intensive academic and training programs and modern curricula, praising the knowledge and sciences they acquired, which form a crucial point in the practical life of an officer.
After that, the overall results for the graduates were announced, and the Minister of National Guard honored the outstanding students. The first place and the college sword went to Pilot Major Ali bin Hassan Al-Qahtani from the Leadership and Staff Program, and the first place and the college shield went to Pilot Colonel Awad bin Awda Al-Mutrifi from the Advanced Military Studies Program.
