أوضحت النيابة العامة أن التعاملات الإلكترونية هي كل تبادل أو تراسل أو تعاقد، أو أي إجراء يُبرم أو يُنفذ كلياً أو جزئياً بوسائل إلكترونية، وتُعد هذه التعاملات محمية بموجب النظام.
وحذّرت النيابة من القيام بتزوير السجل الإلكتروني، أو التوقيع الإلكتروني، أو شهادات التصديق الرقمي، أو استعمال أي من ذلك مع العلم بتزويره، مشيرة إلى أن ارتكاب ما سبق يعد مخالفة لأحكام نظام التعاملات الإلكترونية.
The Public Prosecution clarified that electronic transactions are any exchange, correspondence, contract, or any action that is concluded or executed wholly or partially by electronic means, and these transactions are protected under the law.
The prosecution warned against forging electronic records, electronic signatures, or digital certification certificates, or using any of these with knowledge of their forgery, indicating that committing the aforementioned constitutes a violation of the provisions of the electronic transactions law.
