نجح فريق القسطرة القلبية بمدينة الملك عبدالله الطبية بمكة في إنقاذ حياة حاج إيراني في العقد السابع من عمره بعد تعرضه لجلطة حادة في الجدار الأمامي للقلب، وذلك خلال زمن قياسي لم يتجاوز 78 دقيقة منذ لحظة التشخيص وحتى استعادة تدفق الدم إلى القلب.
وبيّن تجمع مكة المكرمة الصحي أن تفاصيل الحالة تعود إلى شعور الحاج بألم حاد في الصدر استمر نحو الساعة، إذ أُجري له تخطيط قلب كشف وجود جلطة قلبية حادة عند الساعة 09:33 صباحاً. وفي استجابة سريعة، تم نقله مباشرة إلى غرفة القسطرة القلبية، وبدأ الإجراء التدخلي بتمرير السلك القلبي في تمام الساعة 10:51 صباحاً وأُجريت القسطرة القلبية بنجاح عبر الشريان الكعبري الأيمن، إذ أظهرت الفحوصات وجود انسداد كلي في الشريان الأمامي النازل (LAD)، وتم التعامل معه وفتحه باستخدام بالون طبي، ما أسفر عن استعادة تدفق الدم بشكل طبيعي إلى عضلة القلب.
ويُعد هذا النجاح مؤشراً على الجاهزية العالية والتكامل الفعال بين الكوادر الطبية وفرق الهلال الأحمر، إذ تجاوزت سرعة الاستجابة المعايير العالمية المعتمدة للتعامل مع الجلطات القلبية، التي تحدد بـ120 دقيقة حدّاً أقصى، مما يبرز التميز الطبي والإنساني في خدمة ضيوف الرحمن.

The Makkah Health Cluster indicated that the details of the case involved the pilgrim feeling severe chest pain that lasted for about an hour. An ECG was performed, which revealed an acute heart attack at 09:33 AM. In a swift response, he was immediately transferred to the cardiac catheterization room, and the interventional procedure began with the insertion of the cardiac wire at exactly 10:51 AM. The cardiac catheterization was successfully performed through the right radial artery, revealing a complete blockage in the left anterior descending artery (LAD). This was addressed and opened using a medical balloon, resulting in the restoration of normal blood flow to the heart muscle.
This success is an indication of the high readiness and effective integration between medical staff and Red Crescent teams, as the response speed exceeded the internationally accepted standards for dealing with heart attacks, which set a maximum limit of 120 minutes.
