أكدت الهيئة العامة لتنظيم الإعلام بالشراكة مع مجلس شؤون الأسرة سعيها المستمر نحو بناء بيئة إعلامية آمنة تراعي القيم وتدعم التربية السليمة، بما يعزز من حماية النشء والأسرة في ظل الانفتاح الرقمي وتعدد المنصات الإعلامية، جاء ذلك بمناسبة اليوم الدولي للأسرة. وشددت الهيئة على أن دورها لا يقتصر على تنظيم المحتوى، بل يتعداه إلى صيانة الذوق العام، وغرس القيم، ودعم الأمن المجتمعي، وذلك من خلال عدة مسارات تكاملية أبرزها: تصنيف المحتوى وفق الفئات العمرية، رفع الوعي الأسري بأدوارها في التوجيه الرقمي والإشراف على المنصات الإعلامية والتطبيقات لضمان امتثالها للمعايير الوطنية، وضع ضوابط إعلامية تحمي القيم وتعزز من المسؤولية المجتمعية، دعم المحتوى الهادف الذي يخدم الأمن الفكري والتربوي.
وتؤكد الهيئة أن حماية الأسرة تبدأ من ضبط الرسائل الإعلامية الموجّهة لها، وتوجيه المنصات إلى الالتزام بمسؤوليتها تجاه المجتمع، مشيرة إلى أن الشراكة مع الأسرة جزء أساسي في تحقيق التوازن بين حرية التعبير وسلامة المحتوى.
The General Authority for Media Regulation, in partnership with the Family Affairs Council, has confirmed its ongoing efforts to build a safe media environment that respects values and supports healthy upbringing, enhancing the protection of youth and families in light of digital openness and the multitude of media platforms. This was stated on the occasion of the International Day of Families. The Authority emphasized that its role is not limited to regulating content but extends to preserving public taste, instilling values, and supporting community security through several complementary pathways, the most prominent of which are: classifying content according to age groups, raising family awareness of their roles in digital guidance and supervising media platforms and applications to ensure compliance with national standards, establishing media controls that protect values and enhance social responsibility, and supporting purposeful content that serves intellectual and educational security.
The Authority affirms that protecting the family begins with regulating the media messages directed at them and guiding platforms to adhere to their responsibilities towards the community, noting that partnership with the family is an essential part of achieving a balance between freedom of expression and content safety.
