هذه البطولات التي سطّرها مواطنون ومواطنات في مواجهة الإرهاب، احتفت بها سفيرة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الأميرة ريما بنت بندر بن سلطان، مستعرضة عبر حسابها في منصة «إكس» تصاميم خاصة لصور وقصص عدد من أبطال المطار، ومشيدة بما أظهروه من شجاعة وشهامة وتفانٍ في إنقاذ المصابين ومساعدة المسافرين.
وأضافت: «خلال الهجوم الحوثي الإرهابي الغاشم على مطار الملك خالد الدولي، سطّر أبناء وبنات المملكة مواقف بطولية مشرّفة، قدّموا فيها سلامة الآخرين على سلامتهم، ومدّوا يد العون للمحتاجين، ولم يتراجعوا عن واجبهم حتى وهم يواجهون الخطر والإصابة».

وأكدت سفيرة المملكة في واشنطن أن تلك المواقف البطولية لم تكن مجرد استجابات عابرة للحظات الخطر، بل تجسيداً حياً لقيم المجتمع السعودي الأصيلة، وما يتمتع به أبناؤه من شهامة وتضامن وتكاتف في مواجهة الشدائد.
وقالت: «هؤلاء الأبطال يجسّدون قيمنا الأصيلة، وشهامة شعبنا، وروح التضامن التي تجمعنا. قصصهم ليست مجرد مواقف شجاعة، بل شهادة على أن قوة المملكة الحقيقية تكمن في شعبها، وفي وحدته وتكاتفه وقت الشدائد».

وفي رسالة حملت مشاعر الفخر والاعتزاز بأبطال الوطن، وجّهت الأميرة ريما تحية تقدير لكل من أسهم في إنقاذ الأرواح وإغاثة المصابين ومساعدة المسافرين خلال الاعتداء الإرهابي.
وقالت: «فخورة بكم جميعًا، وبكل من وقف وساعد وأنقذ وأثبت أن الفزعة والشهامة من طبع أبناء هذا الوطن».
