The Al-Hilal first football team has regained the services of its captain, Salem Al-Dosari, after he participated in team training following a long absence from official matches that lasted nearly five months due to an injury he sustained in his right knee tendon, which required him to undergo surgery last July.
Al-Dosari's last official appearance in the Al-Hilal jersey was on May 21, against Al-Faihah, before injury sidelined him from the team's matches since the start of the current sports season. He underwent an intensive treatment and rehabilitation program in preparation for his return to the pitch.
Al-Dosari returned to team training at the beginning of October after completing his rehabilitation program, but then he experienced pain in his ankle, which caused him to miss training again and the match against Al-Ittihad in the classic of the eighth round of the Roshen Saudi League.
The return of the Al-Hilal captain to participate in team training again is an important step towards regaining his physical and technical readiness, amid anticipation regarding his participation in the upcoming matches, according to the assessment of the coaching and medical staff, following the period of absence that kept him away from the team.
