أوشك مشروع توحيد مسار طريق الملك فهد وأنسنته في محافظة أحد رفيدة على الاكتمال، بعد بلوغ نسبة الإنجاز 85%، مستهدفاً تحسين الحركة المرورية، وتطوير المشهد الحضري، وتنشيط الحركة التجارية والاقتصادية على امتداد الطريق.
ويمثل المشروع خطوة تطويرية تتجاوز تحسين البنية المرورية، لتشمل تهيئة بيئة حضرية أكثر ملاءمة للمشاة والمتسوقين، وتعزيز جاذبية المواقع التجارية، من خلال تنظيم حركة المركبات وتسهيل الوصول إلى المحلات والمنشآت، والحد من التعارض المروري، ورفع مستوى السلامة.
ومن المتوقع أن يسهم توحيد المسار في انسيابية الحركة المرورية، وتحسين تجربة المتنقلين والمتسوقين، إلى جانب دعم الأنشطة التجارية، وتهيئة فرص استثمارية جديدة، بما يعزز النشاط الاقتصادي المحلي ويرفع جاذبية الطريق.
ومع وصول نسبة الإنجاز إلى 85%، يقترب المشروع من مرحلة الاكتمال، وسط تطلعات بأن ينعكس على الحركة المرورية والتجارية والعمرانية، ويحدث تحولاً في المشهد الحضري بوسط المحافظة.
يُذكر أن «عكاظ» نشرت في أوقات سابقة مطالبات بتوحيد مسار طريق الملك فهد المزدوج، بما يسهم في إنعاش الحركة المرورية والعمرانية والتجارية والاقتصادية وسط المحافظة.
The project to unify the route of King Fahd Road and humanize it in the Governorate of Ahad Rafidah is nearing completion, with an achievement rate of 85%. It aims to improve traffic flow, develop the urban landscape, and stimulate commercial and economic activity along the road.
The project represents a developmental step that goes beyond improving traffic infrastructure to include creating a more pedestrian-friendly urban environment for shoppers, enhancing the attractiveness of commercial sites by organizing vehicle movement, facilitating access to shops and establishments, reducing traffic conflicts, and increasing safety levels.
It is expected that the unification of the route will contribute to smoother traffic flow, improve the experience of commuters and shoppers, support commercial activities, and create new investment opportunities, thereby enhancing local economic activity and increasing the road's appeal.
With the achievement rate reaching 85%, the project is approaching the completion stage, amid hopes that it will positively impact traffic, commercial, and urban movement, and bring about a transformation in the urban landscape in the center of the governorate.
It is worth mentioning that "Okaz" previously published demands for the unification of the dual King Fahd Road, which would contribute to revitalizing traffic, urban, commercial, and economic activity in the center of the governorate.
