رداً على ما نشرته «عكاظ» تحت عنوان «تسربات المياه تغرق شوارع الطائف وتتلف الأسفلت»، الثلاثاء 27 أكتوبر، أوضحت شركة المياه الوطنية أن فرقها الميدانية باشرت موقع التسرب فور تلقي البلاغ، وعالجته في حينه.
مسح ميداني
وأضافت الشركة أنها أجرت مسحاً ميدانياً للتأكد من عدم وجود تسربات أو انسكابات أخرى في المنطقة، وتبيّن أن تجمعات المياه الموجودة في الحي ناتجة عن مياه الأمطار، وتقع خارج نطاق أعمال الشركة.
In response to what was published by "Okaz" under the title "Water leaks flood the streets of Taif and damage the asphalt," on Tuesday, October 27, the National Water Company clarified that its field teams addressed the leak site immediately upon receiving the report and handled it at that time.
Field Survey
The company added that it conducted a field survey to ensure that there were no other leaks or spills in the area, and it was found that the water accumulations in the neighborhood were due to rainwater and were outside the scope of the company's operations.
