نفّذت قيادة القوات المشتركة للتحالف، صباح أمس، عملية عسكرية نوعية لتحييد المصادر الحيوية التي تستخدمها المليشيا الحوثية الإرهابية في تنفيذ اعتداءاتها المتكررة على المدنيين والأعيان المدنية في اليمن والمملكة، وتهديد أمنهما وخطوط الملاحة البحرية جنوب البحر الأحمر.
وأوضح المتحدث الرسمي باسم قوات التحالف «تحالف دعم الشرعية في اليمن» اللواء الركن تركي المالكي، أن العملية جاءت إثر استمرار الاعتداءات الحوثية المتعمدة والممنهجة، وثبوت تسخير المليشيا المصادر الحيوية لدعم مجهودها الحربي وتعزيز قدراتها العسكرية، خصوصاً الصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيّرة، بما يؤكد توظيفها تلك المصادر لخدمة أنشطتها العدائية. وأكد المالكي استمرار قيادة القوات المشتركة للتحالف في اتخاذ الإجراءات العملياتية اللازمة لردع سلوك المليشيا ووقف استخدام المصادر الحيوية لدعم مجهودها الحربي، مشدّداً على ضرورة وقف جميع العمليات العدائية تجاه المدنيين والأعيان المدنية، وإلا فإن المليشيا ستتحمّل نتائج سلوكها العدائي.
The joint forces command of the coalition carried out a qualitative military operation yesterday morning to neutralize the vital sources used by the Houthi terrorist militia in executing its repeated attacks on civilians and civilian objects in Yemen and the Kingdom, threatening their security and maritime navigation routes in the southern Red Sea.
The official spokesman for the coalition forces, "Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen," Major General Turki Al-Maliki, explained that the operation came in response to the continued deliberate and systematic Houthi attacks, and the confirmed use of vital sources by the militia to support its war efforts and enhance its military capabilities, particularly ballistic missiles and drones, which confirms their employment of these sources to serve their hostile activities. Al-Maliki emphasized the ongoing commitment of the joint forces command of the coalition to take the necessary operational measures to deter the militia's behavior and stop the use of vital sources to support its war efforts, stressing the need to halt all hostile operations against civilians and civilian objects; otherwise, the militia will bear the consequences of its hostile behavior.
