توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم استمرار هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار قد تؤدي إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة وتبوك والجوف والحدود الشمالية، وتكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على أجزاء من منطقتي المدينة المنورة وحائل، في حين لا تزال الفرصة مهيأة لتكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الأجزاء الجنوبية من المنطقة الشرقية، ولا يستبعد تكوّن الضباب خلال الليل وساعات الصباح الباكر على الأجزاء الساحلية منها.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر تكون شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 18 - 38 كم/ساعة، وشمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة 15 - 30 كم/ساعة، وغربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة 10 - 25 كم/ساعة تصل إلى أكثر من 60 كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر يصل إلى أعلى من مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
وفي الخليج العربي، تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة 10 - 30 كم/ساعة، وشمالية غربية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة 10 - 25 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 50 كم/ساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر يصل إلى أعلى من مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on today's weather that moderate to heavy thunderstorms will continue, leading to flash floods, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds stirring dust and sand, which may result in nearly zero visibility in parts of the Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, and Northern Borders regions. Light to moderate rain is expected in parts of the Madinah and Ha'il regions, while the opportunity remains for the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern parts of the Eastern Province. Fog formation is not ruled out during the night and early morning hours along its coastal areas.
