أجابت الجوازات السعودية على استفسارات المستفيدين عقب إطلاق خدماتها الجديدة. وأوضحت على حسابها الرسمي في منصة (X) أنه يمكن للمواطنين إصدار جواز سفر «بدل مفقود» إلكترونيًا عبر منصة أبشر، بعد الإبلاغ عن فقدان جواز السفر واستكمال الإجراءات اللازمة.
وفي إجابة على سؤال مستفيد حول إمكانية السفر بالجواز المجدد حديثاً، نصحت الجوازات السائل بالتحقق عبر المنصة من حالة الجواز، فإن كان مفعلاً يمكن السفر به، وفي حالة عدم التفعيل يمكن إحضار الجواز السابق ومراجعة إدارات الجوازات أو المنافذ عند السفر لفحصه وتفعيل الجواز الجديد.وفي إجابة على ملاحظة مستفيد يرغب في السفر خلال مدة أقل من أسبوع ويرغب في تجديد جوازه، أبانت الجوازات أنه يمكن التجديد إلكترونيًا، وأشارت إلى أن خدمة التحقق من حالة الجواز تتيح للمواطنين معرفة حالة جواز السفر، وما إذا كان مفعّلاً أو غير مفعّل.
The Saudi passports authority responded to beneficiaries' inquiries following the launch of its new services. It clarified on its official account on the (X) platform that citizens can issue a "replacement for a lost" passport electronically via the Absher platform, after reporting the loss of the passport and completing the necessary procedures.
In response to a beneficiary's question about the possibility of traveling with a recently renewed passport, the passports authority advised the inquirer to check the status of the passport on the platform. If it is activated, they can travel with it; if it is not activated, they can bring the previous passport and visit the passport departments or ports when traveling for inspection and activation of the new passport. In response to a beneficiary's note who wishes to travel within less than a week and wants to renew their passport, the passports authority indicated that renewal can be done electronically, and it pointed out that the passport status verification service allows citizens to know the status of their passport, whether it is activated or not.
