ثمّنت الحكومة اليمنية قرار المملكة العربية السعودية تصحيح أوضاع اليمنيين الموجودين في المملكة بطرق غير نظامية، بناءً على توجيهات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، استجابةً لطلب رئيس مجلس القيادة الرئاسي الدكتور رشاد العليمي.
وأعرب مجلس الوزراء اليمني، في بيان بثته وكالة الأنباء اليمنية «سبأ»، عن امتنانه وتقديره لخادم الحرمين الشريفين وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، مؤكداً أن المبادرة تجسد عمق الأخوة والروابط التاريخية بين البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين، وتعكس النهج الإنساني للمملكة في الوقوف إلى جانب اليمنيين ومراعاة أوضاعهم.
وأكد البيان، أن المبادرة امتداد للمواقف السعودية الأخوية والدعم المتواصل لليمن، وتعكس عمق الشراكة الإستراتيجية بين البلدين، مجدداً تقدير اليمن قيادةً وحكومةً وشعباً للمملكة ومواقفها الداعمة لليمن وأمنه واستقراره.
The Yemeni government valued the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's decision to rectify the status of Yemenis residing in the Kingdom through irregular means, based on the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, in response to a request from the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi.
The Yemeni Cabinet expressed, in a statement broadcast by the Yemeni news agency "Saba," its gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, affirming that the initiative embodies the depth of brotherhood and the historical ties between the two countries and their brotherly peoples, and reflects the humanitarian approach of the Kingdom in standing by the Yemenis and considering their circumstances.
The statement confirmed that the initiative is an extension of the Saudi fraternal positions and ongoing support for Yemen, reflecting the depth of the strategic partnership between the two countries, reiterating Yemen's appreciation, from its leadership, government, and people, for the Kingdom and its supportive positions towards Yemen and its security and stability.
