The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Yemeni Communities Worldwide, the General Supervisor of Yemeni Communities in the Western and Southern Regions, and the Head of the Yemeni Community in Jeddah, Mahdi Hatim Al-Nahari, praised the generous gesture of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to rectify the status of Yemeni workers in the Kingdom, affirming that it reflects the Saudi leadership's commitment to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, particularly expatriates.
Al-Nahari told "Okaz": The royal gesture aims to correct the status of Yemenis who are in violation of residency regulations and to enable them to reside and work legally. He added that what the Kingdom is doing confirms its support for Yemenis, pointing out the continued support of the Kingdom for Yemen in humanitarian, economic, developmental, and military fields, including support for the "Dawn of Yemen" operation, in addition to supporting the state's general budget with 224 million Saudi Riyals.
Al-Nahari emphasized that the Yemeni community worldwide stands with Saudi Arabia and the legitimate Yemeni leadership, rejecting anything that threatens the Kingdom's security, stability, and sanctities, affirming that the Houthi militia does not represent the Yemeni people.
He concluded by expressing his gratitude and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince for this generous gesture, which has brought joy to the Yemenis.
