The story began in Al-Qassim with a big question about the possibility of building a national poultry industry capable of growth and sustainability. At the Middle East Poultry Exhibition, this question resurfaced with the honoring of Sheikh Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi among the pioneers of the industry, followed by the victory of National Poultry in the Corporate Social Responsibility Award and the signing of two strategic partnerships that are steering the journey towards a new phase.
The honoring revived a journey where the idea of localizing the industry and transferring expertise evolved into a project that grew over time, contributing to building Saudi expertise and opening job opportunities in a sector directly linked to food security. For National Poultry, recalling this beginning was not merely a reflection on the past but rather a confirmation that the industrial roots are still present in the company's current directions.
In the second phase, National Poultry received the Corporate Social Responsibility Award in recognition of its impact created from within the establishment to the community. This began with localizing jobs, building skills, transferring knowledge, and creating job opportunities for national competencies, extending to empowering women and providing a work environment and support services for families, alongside health, volunteer, developmental initiatives, and environmental sustainability.
The third phase looked towards the future, through a strategic partnership with Cobb-Vantress to develop the production of parent poultry and its distribution, transfer expertise, and localize knowledge, along with another partnership with International Growing Energy aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and improving operational reliability.
Between the honoring of a journey that created beginnings, an award measuring impact, and partnerships investing in the future, National Poultry presented during the exhibition a picture of an interconnected path: an industry being localized, knowledge being transferred to national competencies, jobs created by the system, broader opportunities for women, and continuous development of technical and operational tools to enhance the sustainability of the sector.
