استعرض وكيل وزارة الخارجية للشؤون الدولية المتعددة المشرف العام على وكالة الوزارة لشؤون الاقتصاد والتنمية الدكتور عبدالرحمن إبراهيم الرسي، مع الأمين العام لوزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي الإيطالية السفير ريكاردو غوارليا، العلاقات الثنائية بين المملكة العربية السعودية والجمهورية الإيطالية، وسبل تعزيز التعاون والتنسيق بين البلدين في المجالات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
وجرى خلال اللقاء، الذي عقد على هامش مشاركة الرسي في اجتماع المديرين السياسيين للتحالف الدولي لهزيمة تنظيم «داعش» الذي استضافته العاصمة الإيطالية روما، التأكيد على أهمية مواصلة التنسيق والتشاور في المحافل الدولية تجاه القضايا والتحديات المشتركة، بما يدعم الأمن والاستقرار الإقليمي والدولي.
The Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral International Affairs and General Supervisor of the Ministry's Agency for Economic and Development Affairs, Dr. Abdulrahman Ibrahim Al-Rassi, reviewed the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Italian Republic with the Secretary General of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ambassador Riccardo Guariglia, and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of Al-Rassi's participation in the meeting of political directors of the International Coalition to Defeat ISIS hosted by the Italian capital, Rome, the importance of continuing coordination and consultation in international forums regarding common issues and challenges was emphasized, in a manner that supports regional and international security and stability.
