استقبل نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه بديوان الإمار، (الأحد)، رئيس جامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل، الدكتور فهد بن أحمد الحربي، يرافقه عدد من قيادات الجامعة، وذلك بمناسبة بدء العام الجامعي الجديد.
وأكد نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية أن ما يحظى به قطاع التعليم من دعم واهتمام من القيادة الرشيدة أسهم في تعزيز مسيرة التطوير التعليمي، منوهاً بأهمية مواصلة الارتقاء بجودة البرامج الأكاديمية، ودعم البحث العلمي والابتكار، وتمكين الطلبة من المعارف والمهارات التي تسهم في تأهيلهم للمستقبل، بما يواكب مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
وقدّم الحربي لنائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية عرضاً عن استعدادات الجامعة للعام الجامعي الجديد، متناولاً خطط القبول والتسجيل ونسب القبول وأعداد المقبولين في مختلف التخصصات والبرامج الأكاديمية، إلى جانب الإجراءات المتخذة لاستقبال الطلبة وتهيئة البيئة الجامعية والأكاديمية المناسبة لهم، كما استعرض جاهزية الكليات والمرافق والقاعات والمعامل، وتطوير الخدمات التعليمية والإلكترونية والمساندة، والبرامج التوجيهية للطلبة المستجدين، بما يسهم في توفير بيئة تعليمية محفزة، وتعزيز جودة التجربة الجامعية، وتهيئة الطلبة لتحقيق النجاح والتميز الأكاديمي.
ورفع الحربي لنائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية شكره وتقديره على ما تحظى به الجامعة من دعم واهتمام مستمرين، مؤكداً مواصلة الجامعة جهودها في تطوير منظومتها التعليمية والبحثية، وتعزيز إسهاماتها في خدمة المجتمع ودعم التنمية في المنطقة.
The Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, received in his office at the Emirate's Diwan, on (Sunday), the President of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Dr. Fahd bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, accompanied by a number of university leaders, on the occasion of the start of the new academic year.
The Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province emphasized that the support and attention the education sector receives from the wise leadership has contributed to enhancing the educational development process, highlighting the importance of continuing to improve the quality of academic programs, supporting scientific research and innovation, and empowering students with the knowledge and skills that prepare them for the future, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Al-Harbi presented to the Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province an overview of the university's preparations for the new academic year, discussing admission and registration plans, acceptance rates, and the number of accepted students in various disciplines and academic programs, in addition to the measures taken to welcome students and prepare a suitable university and academic environment for them. He also reviewed the readiness of the colleges, facilities, halls, and laboratories, the development of educational and electronic support services, and the orientation programs for new students, all of which contribute to providing a stimulating educational environment, enhancing the quality of the university experience, and preparing students to achieve success and academic excellence.
Al-Harbi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Deputy Emir of the Eastern Province for the continuous support and attention the university receives, affirming the university's commitment to continue its efforts in developing its educational and research system, and enhancing its contributions to community service and supporting development in the region.
