أعربت دولة الكويت عن إدانتها واستنكارها الشديدين لمحاولة ميليشيا الحوثي استهداف مدينة الرياض في المملكة العربية السعودية بصاروخ باليستي ومحاولتها استهداف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية في مدن بيش والطائف وفرسان وينبع.
وأكدت وزارة الخارجية الكويتية في بيان لها (السبت)، أن هذه الاعتداءات العدائية تشكّل انتهاكًا صارخًا لسيادة المملكة وخرقًا فاضحًا للقانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني.
وأشادت بيقظة قوات الدفاع الجوي الملكي السعودي وكفاءتها في التصدي لهذه الاعتداءات المشينة والجبانة.
وجددت تضامن دولة الكويت المطلق مع المملكة العربية السعودية ووقوفها إلى جانبها ودعمها لكافة الإجراءات التي تتخذها لصون سيادتها وأمنها وحماية مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها، مشددة على أن أمن المملكة جزء لا يتجزأ من أمن دولة الكويت وأمن دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية.
The State of Kuwait expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi militia's attempt to target the city of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with a ballistic missile, as well as its attempts to target civilians and civilian objects in the cities of Bish, Taif, Farasan, and Yanbu.
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement on Saturday that these hostile attacks constitute a blatant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty and a flagrant breach of international law and international humanitarian law.
It praised the vigilance and efficiency of the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces in confronting these disgraceful and cowardly attacks.
Kuwait reiterated its absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty and security, and to protect its citizens and residents on its territory, emphasizing that the security of the Kingdom is an integral part of the security of the State of Kuwait and the security of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
