أكد رئيس لجنة الأخوة البرلمانية الأردنية - السعودية النائب عبدالباسط الكباريتي، وقوف الأردن بقيادة ملك الأردن عبدالله الثاني، إلى جانب المملكة العربية السعودية، مشدداً على أن أمنها واستقرارها وسيادتها «خط أحمر لا يقبل المساس».
وأدان الكباريتي بشدة الاعتداءات التي استهدفت خميس مشيط وأبها والطائف، مؤكداً أن استهداف المدنيين والمنشآت المدنية انتهاك لسيادة المملكة وتهديد لأمنها واستقرارها، ومخالفة للقانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة.
وقال، في رسالة إلى رئيس لجنة الصداقة البرلمانية السعودية - الأردنية بمجلس الشورى الدكتور إبراهيم القناص: إن الأردن يقف مع المملكة في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لحماية أمنها وسيادتها وسلامة أراضيها، مؤكداً أن أمن السعودية جزء أصيل من أمن المنطقة واستقرارها.
وشدد على عمق العلاقات الأردنية - السعودية، وما يجمع البلدين من أخوة وتاريخ ومصير مشترك، مؤكداً حرص لجنة الأخوة البرلمانية على تعزيز التواصل والتنسيق بين مجلس النواب الأردني ومجلس الشورى السعودي.
The Chairman of the Jordanian-Saudi Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee, Deputy Abdul Basit Al-Kabareti, affirmed Jordan's support, under the leadership of King Abdullah II, for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing that its security, stability, and sovereignty are a "red line that cannot be violated."
Al-Kabareti strongly condemned the attacks targeting Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Taif, emphasizing that targeting civilians and civilian facilities is a violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability, as well as a violation of international law and the United Nations Charter.
In a message to the Chairman of the Saudi-Jordanian Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Shura Council, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Qanass, he stated that Jordan stands with the Kingdom in all measures it takes to protect its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, affirming that Saudi security is an integral part of the security and stability of the region.
He emphasized the depth of Jordanian-Saudi relations and the bonds of brotherhood, history, and shared destiny between the two countries, reaffirming the Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee's commitment to enhancing communication and coordination between the Jordanian House of Representatives and the Saudi Shura Council.
