أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة مملكة البحرين واستنكارها الشديدين للاعتداءات التي نفذتها مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية على المملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة، ومحاولتها استهداف مكة المكرمة بطائرة مسيّرة مساء الثلاثاء، أحبطتها قوات الدفاع الجوي الملكي السعودي، معتبرةً ذلك انتهاكاً صارخاً لقواعد القانون الدولي والقانون الدولي الإنساني وميثاق الأمم المتحدة وميثاق منظمة التعاون الإسلامي وقرارات مجلس الأمن ذات الصلة، وخرقاً سافراً لحرمة البيت الحرام وقدسية الأماكن المقدسة.
وأكدت الوزارة تضامن مملكة البحرين الكامل مع المملكة العربية السعودية، ودعمها التام لكل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لصون سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها، وحماية مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها، بما يتوافق مع المادة
(51) من ميثاق الأمم المتحدة، تأكيداً على أن أمن المملكة واستقرارها جزء لا يتجزأ من الأمن الوطني لمملكة البحرين.
وشددت وزارة الخارجية على دعوة البحرين، مجلس الأمن إلى الاضطلاع بمسؤولياته واتخاذ موقف حازم لوقف الاعتداءات الإرهابية المتكررة التي تستهدف الأعيان المدنية والمقدسات الدينية وتروّع المدنيين الآمنين في المملكة، ومحاسبة مرتكبيها، بما يُسهم في صون الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين والدوليين وحماية المقدسات.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain's condemnation and strong denunciation of the attacks carried out by the Houthi terrorist militia against the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its attempt to target Mecca with a drone on Tuesday evening, which was thwarted by the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces. It considered this a blatant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the United Nations Charter, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and relevant Security Council resolutions, as well as a gross violation of the sanctity of the Sacred House and the holiness of sacred places.
The ministry affirmed the complete solidarity of the Kingdom of Bahrain with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and its full support for all measures taken to preserve its sovereignty, security, and stability, and to protect its citizens and residents on its territory, in accordance with Article
(51) of the United Nations Charter, emphasizing that the security and stability of the Kingdom is an integral part of the national security of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed Bahrain's call for the Security Council to assume its responsibilities and take a firm stance to stop the repeated terrorist attacks targeting civilian sites and religious sanctities that terrorize innocent civilians in the Kingdom, and to hold the perpetrators accountable, contributing to the preservation of regional and international security and stability and the protection of sacred places.
