أدانت جمهورية قبرص بشكل قاطع هجمات الحوثيين ضد المملكة العربية السعودية والحكومة اليمنية الشرعية، مؤكدة رفضها استهداف الأعيان المدنية والاقتصادية في أبها وخميس مشيط وجازان ونجران، وما أسفر عنه من إصابات، وعدّت ذلك أمراً غير مقبول.
وقالت وزارة الخارجية القبرصية: «تعرب قبرص عن تضامنها الكامل مع الدول المتضررة وشعوبها، وتشدد على أهمية احترام حرية الملاحة والقانون الدولي، وفقاً لاتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لقانون البحار».
The Republic of Cyprus strongly condemned the Houthi attacks against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the legitimate Yemeni government, affirming its rejection of targeting civilian and economic sites in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, and the resulting injuries, deeming it unacceptable.
The Cypriot Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: "Cyprus expresses its full solidarity with the affected countries and their peoples, and emphasizes the importance of respecting freedom of navigation and international law, in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea."
