رحبت رابطة العالم الإسلامي بقرار حكومة المملكة المتحدة القاضي بحظر استيراد السلع من المستوطنات الإسرائيلية غير القانونية في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، وفرض قيود على الخدمات المرتبطة بهذه المستوطنات. ورحبت بالبيان بشأن حل الدولتين، الصادر عن وزراء خارجية كل من كندا والدانمارك وفنلندا وفرنسا وأيسلندا وإيرلندا والنرويج وبولندا والبرتغال وإسبانيا والسويد والمملكة المتحدة.
موقف مسؤول
ونوّه الأمين العام للرابطة رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى -في بيان- بهذا الموقف المسؤول المهم الداعم للحق التاريخي والقانوني للشعب الفلسطيني، داعيًا المجتمع الدولي للاضطلاع بمسؤولياته القانونية والأخلاقية للوقف الفوري لجميع انتهاكات الحكومة الإسرائيلية، واتخاذ تدابير فعّالة وملموسة ضد محاولاتها فرض واقع ديموغرافي أو جغرافي جديد في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما في ذلك النشاط الاستيطاني غير القانوني.

وأشاد بالتأييد الكبير بالبيان الصادر في هذا الشأن، عن وزراء خارجية كل من المملكة، والأردن، والإمارات، وإندونيسيا، وباكستان، وتركيا، وقطر، ومصر، وبتضامنهم الراسخ مع الشعب الفلسطيني، ودعمهم الثابت لحقوقه المشروعة، وفي مقدمتها حقه في إقامة دولته وفق مسار حل الدولتين، والقرارات الدولية ذات الصلة، بصفته السبيل الوحيد لتحقيق السلام العادل والدائم في المنطقة.
The Muslim World League welcomed the decision of the United Kingdom government to ban the import of goods from the illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories and to impose restrictions on services related to these settlements. It also welcomed the statement regarding the two-state solution, issued by the foreign ministers of Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
A Responsible Stance
The Secretary-General of the League, Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, highlighted this important responsible stance that supports the historical and legal rights of the Palestinian people in a statement, calling on the international community to fulfill its legal and moral responsibilities to immediately stop all violations by the Israeli government and to take effective and tangible measures against its attempts to impose a new demographic or geographic reality in the occupied Palestinian territories, including illegal settlement activities.
Solidarity
He praised the strong support for the statement issued in this regard by the foreign ministers of the Kingdom, Jordan, the UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt, and their steadfast solidarity with the Palestinian people, and their unwavering support for its legitimate rights, foremost among them the right to establish its state according to the two-state solution path and relevant international resolutions, as the only way to achieve just and lasting peace in the region.
