انتظم، أمس (الأحد)، في مقاعد الدراسة أكثر من مليوني طالب وطالبة بمدارس التعليم العام بمراحلها الثلاث بإدارات التعليم في مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة ومحافظتي جدة والطائف، في انطلاقة العام الدراسي الجديد، وسط أجواء إيجابية واحتفالية مميزة شهدتها المدارس، خصوصاً الابتدائية ومدارس الطفولة المبكرة التي استقبلت المستجدين.
وبعودة طلاب وطالبات الإدارات الأربع، تبدأ أكثر من 38 ألف مدرسة بمدارس التعليم العام تنفيذ برامجها التعليمية للعام الدراسي الحالي، وفق الخطط التشغيلية التي أعدت مع عودة الكوادر الإدارية.
من جانب آخر، ينتظر الطلاب والطالبات والكوادر الإدارية والتعليمية، أول إجازات العام الدراسي الجديد المتمثلة في إجازة اليوم الوطني للمملكة لهذا العام.
وتبدأ الإجازة بنهاية دوام الثلاثاء الموافق الـ11 من ربيع الثاني، وتشمل يومي الأربعاء والخميس، ويضاف إليهما يوما الجمعة والسبت (الإجازة الأسبوعية المعتادة).
يشار إلى أن التقويم الدراسي، الذي أصدرته الوزارة، تضمن 6 إجازات مدرسية، إجازة اليوم الوطني (لمدة يومين)، وإجازة الخريف (لمدة 9 أيام)، وإجازة منتصف العام الدراسي (لمدة 9 أيام)، وإجازة يوم التأسيس (لمدة يومين)، وإجازة عيد الفطر (لمدة 16 يوماً)، وإجازة عيد الأضحى المبارك (لمدة 16 يوماً).
Yesterday (Sunday), more than two million male and female students in public education schools across the three stages in the education departments of Mecca, Medina, and the governorates of Jeddah and Taif began the new academic year, amidst a positive and festive atmosphere witnessed in schools, especially in elementary and early childhood schools that welcomed new students.
With the return of students from the four departments, more than 38,000 public education schools will start implementing their educational programs for the current academic year, according to the operational plans prepared with the return of administrative staff.
On another note, students, administrative staff, and educational personnel are looking forward to the first holiday of the new academic year, which is the National Day holiday for the Kingdom this year.
The holiday begins at the end of the workday on Tuesday, corresponding to the 11th of Rabi' al-Thani, and includes Wednesday and Thursday, with Friday and Saturday added (the usual weekend holiday).
It is worth noting that the academic calendar issued by the ministry includes 6 school holidays: the National Day holiday (for two days), the autumn holiday (for 9 days), the mid-year holiday (for 9 days), the Foundation Day holiday (for two days), the Eid al-Fitr holiday (for 16 days), and the Eid al-Adha holiday (for 16 days).
