استقبلت الجامعات السعودية عامها الدراسي الجديد، بالتنويه للطالبات بضرورة الالتزام بالزي الجامعي، والتقيد باللوائح المنظمة للمظهر. وكشف الدليل الإرشادي للمظهر بجامعة الطائف، المستند إلى المادة الرابعة (المخالفات) من لائحة قواعد السلوك والانضباط، جملة من الضوابط والمخالفات المتعلقة بملبس الطالبات، إذ يمنع ارتداء البنطال المشقوق، والضيق الذي يبرز معالم الجسم أو الشفاف والبنطال القصير.
كما يمنع الدليل البلوزة القصيرة، والبلوزة دون أكمام والشفافة، إضافة إلى التنورة القصيرة أو المفتوحة، و«البيجامة» وغيرها.
وشملت الممنوعات كل لباس يحمل شعارات مخالفة لتعاليم الدين الإسلامي، أو يخالف القيم والأعراف السائدة، إلى جانب ما يلبس في الوجه من أقراط أو رسومات مخالفة للقيم والعادات والتقاليد والثقافة السائدة.
وسمح الدليل بارتداء البلوزة الساترة والقميص القطني (T-shirt)، والبنطال الواسع و«السكرابات» الواسعة، إضافة إلى التنورة الطويلة غير المفتوحة، باعتبارها من الملابس المسموح بها داخل الحرم الجامعي بشطر الطالبات.
وكشفت المشرفة العامة على شطر الطالبات في جامعة الطائف الدكتورة خديجة أبو النجا، في حساب الجامعة الرسمي، أهمية الالتزام بالحضور والتقيد بالزي الجامعي والأنظمة واللوائح المنظمة، ومراعاة الذوق العام، بما يعزز بيئة جامعية منضبطة ومحفزة.
ودعت الطالبات إلى الاطلاع على الدليل الإرشادي للذوق العام والمظهر والتعاون مع ضابطات الأمن الجامعي، مؤكدة أنه لن يسمح لأي طالبة بالدخول بالعباءة إلا بعد التأكد من التزامها في ملبسها بما ورد في الدليل الإرشادي.
ويهدف الدليل إلى تعريف الطالبات بضوابط المظهر والملبس وتجنب الوقوع في المخالفات الموجبة للعقوبات وفق لائحة قواعد السلوك والانضباط الطلابي، بما يعكس صورة منضبطة للبيئة الجامعية.
The Saudi universities welcomed their new academic year by reminding female students of the necessity to adhere to the university dress code and comply with the regulations governing appearance. The appearance guidelines at Taif University, based on Article Four (Violations) of the Code of Conduct and Discipline, revealed a series of rules and violations related to female students' attire, prohibiting ripped pants, tight clothing that accentuates body features, transparent clothing, and short pants.
The guidelines also prohibit short blouses, sleeveless and transparent blouses, as well as short or open skirts, and "pajamas," among others.
The prohibited items include any clothing bearing slogans that contradict Islamic teachings or violate prevailing values and norms, in addition to facial accessories or tattoos that are contrary to values, customs, traditions, and the prevailing culture.
The guidelines permit wearing long blouses, cotton T-shirts, wide pants, and wide "scrubs," as well as long skirts that are not open, considering them acceptable attire within the university campus for female students.
The general supervisor of the female section at Taif University, Dr. Khadija Abu Al-Naja, emphasized on the university's official account the importance of attending classes and adhering to the university dress code and regulations, while also considering public decorum, which enhances a disciplined and motivating university environment.
She urged female students to review the guidelines on public decorum and appearance and to cooperate with university security officers, confirming that no student will be allowed to enter wearing an abaya unless it is ensured that she complies with the dress code outlined in the guidelines.
The purpose of the guidelines is to inform female students about the standards of appearance and attire and to avoid violations that may lead to penalties according to the Code of Conduct and Student Discipline, reflecting a disciplined image of the university environment.
