التقى رئيس هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد (نزاهة) مازن بن إبراهيم الكهموس، رئيس وكالة الاتحاد الأوروبي للتعاون في مجال العدالة الجنائية (يوروجست) مايكل شميد بمقر الأمم المتحدة بمدينة فيينا.
وبحثا خلال اللقاء سبل التعاون المشترك لدعم الجهود الدولية المعلوماتية بمكافحة الفساد والتحقيقات في الجرائم الخطيرة المرتبطة بالفساد العابرة للحدود، ومناقشة عددٍ من الموضوعات ذات الاهتمام المشترك.
واطَّلع الجانبان على أهم الإجراءات التي تقوم بها هيئة الرقابة ومكافحة الفساد في مجال حماية النزاهة، وتعزيز مبدأ الشفافية ومكافحة الفساد، إضافة إلى الجهود التي تقوم بها الوكالة في مجال التحقيقات في جرائم الفساد العابرة للحدود في أوروبا وخارجها.
The President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha), Mazen bin Ibrahim Al-Kahmous, met with the President of the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Cooperation (Eurojust), Michael Schmid, at the United Nations headquarters in Vienna.
During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation to support international efforts in combating corruption and investigating serious crimes related to cross-border corruption, as well as addressing several topics of mutual interest.
Both sides reviewed the key measures being taken by the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority in the field of integrity protection, promoting the principle of transparency, and combating corruption, in addition to the efforts made by the agency in investigating cross-border corruption crimes in Europe and beyond.
