اشترطت مديرية الجوازات السعودية على خدمة التفويض الإلكتروني لعدد من الخدمات أن يكون المفوّض له سعودياً وامتلاك حساب نشط لكل من المفوِّض والمفوَّض له على منصة «أبشر». وأتاحت الجوازات إمكانية إلغاء التفويض متى رغب الطرفان.
تتيح الخدمة الإلكترونية للمستفيد تفويض شخص آخر لينوب عنه في إنهاء المعاملات الخاصة بقطاع الجوازات دون الحاجة للمراجعة الشخصية، وتوفر الخدمة الرقمية الوقت والجهد على المستفيدين وتنفيذ المعاملة في الوقت المحدد بدقة.
وكانت الجوازات السعودية كشفت في وقت سابق عن الخدمات المتاحة للتفويض الإلكتروني، وقدمت قائمة بالخدمات المتاحة وتشمل: إصدار وإلغاء تصاريح سفر التابعين، الإبلاغ عن فقدان أو تلف الجواز، إصدار هوية مقيم، تجديد هوية مقيم، استلام هوية مقيم بعد الطباعة، إصدار وإلغاء تأشيرة خروج وعودة، إصدار وإلغاء تأشيرة خروج نهائي، الإبلاغ عن فقدان هوية مقيم، الإبلاغ عن فقدان جواز مقيم، الإبلاغ عن تغيب العمالة، إضافة تابع وفصل تابع.
كما تشمل قائمة الخدمات المتاحة للتفويض الإلكتروني تحويل تابع إلى رب أسرة، تغيير مهنة، نقل خدمات، نقل معلومات، تمديد تأشيرة الزيارة، إصدار الجواز، تجديد الجواز، استلام الجواز، تسجيل خرج ولم يعد، تفويض خدمات مقيم، فحص الجواز السابق. ويشترط للتفويض سريان صلاحية الهوية الوطنية أو الإقامة، وخلو الطرفين من المخالفات أو القيود المالية بحسب نوع الخدمة المفوض بها.
The Saudi Passport Directorate has stipulated that for the electronic authorization service for several services, the authorized person must be Saudi and both the authorizer and the authorized person must have active accounts on the "Absher" platform. The Passport Directorate has allowed the cancellation of the authorization whenever both parties wish.
The electronic service enables the beneficiary to authorize another person to act on their behalf in completing transactions related to the passport sector without the need for personal review, providing the digital service saves time and effort for beneficiaries and ensures that the transaction is completed accurately within the specified time.
The Saudi Passport Directorate previously revealed the services available for electronic authorization and provided a list of available services, which include: issuing and canceling travel permits for dependents, reporting the loss or damage of a passport, issuing a resident ID, renewing a resident ID, receiving a resident ID after printing, issuing and canceling exit and re-entry visas, issuing and canceling final exit visas, reporting the loss of a resident ID, reporting the loss of a resident's passport, reporting the absence of workers, adding a dependent, and separating a dependent.
The list of services available for electronic authorization also includes converting a dependent to a head of household, changing profession, transferring services, transferring information, extending a visit visa, issuing a passport, renewing a passport, receiving a passport, registering a person who has left and not returned, authorizing resident services, and checking the previous passport. Authorization requires that the national ID or residency is valid, and that both parties are free from violations or financial restrictions according to the type of service being authorized.
