عقدت هيئة كبار العلماء برئاسة المفتي العام للمملكة رئيس الهيئة الرئيس العام للبحوث العلمية والإفتاء الشيخ الدكتور صالح فوزان الفوزان، أمس دورتها التاسعة والتسعين في مقر الهيئة بمحافظة الطائف، بحضور أعضاء الهيئة وأمينها العام.
وأكد المفتي العام أن ما تحظى به الهيئة من دعم واهتمام من خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، مكّنها من أداء مهماتها العلمية والشرعية ودراسة الموضوعات المحالة إليها وإصدار القرارات الشرعية حيالها.
وأوضح الأمين العام لهيئة كبار العلماء الشيخ الدكتور فهد سعد الماجد، أن جدول أعمال الدورة يتضمن موضوعات واردة من المقام الكريم، وعدد من الجهات الحكومية، واللجنة الدائمة للفتوى، مشيراً إلى أن الاستعداد للدورة بدأ منذ انتهاء أعمال الدورة السابقة، من خلال تشكيل لجان استشارية تضم أعضاء من الهيئة ومختصين؛ لتقديم رؤى متخصصة حول الموضوعات محل الدراسة.
وأضاف أن الأمانة العامة أعدت بحوثاً محكّمة بمشاركة مختصين من مختلف التخصصات، إلى جانب الاستعانة بخبراء ومختصين لاستطلاع آرائهم بشأن عدد من الموضوعات، فيما تواصل الهيئة دراسة الموضوعات المدرجة على جدول الأعمال دراسة علمية وشرعية مستفيضة، وصولاً إلى ما تراه من قرارات وآراء شرعية وفق اختصاصاتها ومهماتها.
The Council of Senior Scholars, chaired by the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom and the Chairman of the General Authority for Scientific Research and Ifta, Sheikh Dr. Saleh Fawzan Al-Fawzan, held its ninety-ninth session yesterday at the council's headquarters in Taif, with the attendance of council members and its Secretary-General.
The Grand Mufti confirmed that the support and attention the council receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, has enabled it to fulfill its scientific and religious duties, study the topics referred to it, and issue religious decisions regarding them.
The Secretary-General of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Fahd Saad Al-Majid, explained that the agenda of the session includes topics received from the esteemed authority, several government agencies, and the Permanent Committee for Fatwa, noting that preparations for the session began immediately after the conclusion of the previous session by forming advisory committees that include members of the council and specialists to provide specialized insights on the topics under study.
He added that the General Secretariat has prepared peer-reviewed research with the participation of specialists from various fields, in addition to consulting experts and specialists to gather their opinions on several topics, while the council continues to study the topics listed on the agenda in a comprehensive scientific and religious manner, leading to what it deems appropriate in terms of decisions and religious opinions according to its competencies and duties.
