تعاني العديد من مدارس التعليم العام في مناطق المملكة ومحافظاتها من غياب عناصر الأنسنة في الشوارع المحيطة بها، إذ رصدت عدسة «عكاظ» افتقار تلك المواقع للمسطحات الخضراء وزراعة الأشجار، رغم توفر مساحات مناسبة حول مدارس البنين والبنات على حدٍّ سواء.

ويأمل أولياء الأمور أن تبدأ الجهات المعنية في تهيئة هذه المساحات بزراعة الأشجار وتفعيل مبادرة السعودية الخضراء ضمن رؤية المملكة 2030، التي أطلقها ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود؛ بهدف توحيد الجهود المجتمعية لاتخاذ إجراءات فعّالة وقابلة للقياس في مجال العمل البيئي، بما يسهم في رفع جودة حياة سكان المملكة.
وأشار أولياء الأمور إلى أن توفير المسطحات الخضراء حول المدارس سيتيح أماكن مهيأة لانتظار الطلاب والطالبات بعد انتهاء اليوم الدراسي، كما سيخفف من آثار ارتفاع درجات الحرارة في العديد من مناطق ومدن المملكة، ويعزز بيئة تعليمية أكثر راحة وإنسانية.
Many public schools in various regions and governorates of the Kingdom suffer from a lack of humanizing elements in the surrounding streets, as the lens of "Okaz" has observed the absence of green spaces and tree planting in these areas, despite the availability of suitable spaces around both boys' and girls' schools.
Green Spaces
Parents hope that the relevant authorities will begin to prepare these areas by planting trees and activating the Saudi Green Initiative as part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, launched by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; with the aim of unifying community efforts to take effective and measurable actions in the field of environmental work, contributing to improving the quality of life for the residents of the Kingdom.
Parents pointed out that providing green spaces around schools will create suitable places for students to wait after the school day ends, as well as mitigate the effects of rising temperatures in many regions and cities of the Kingdom, and enhance a more comfortable and humane educational environment.
