بعد إجازة بدأت في 25 يونيو واستمرت أسابيع، تعود اليوم (الثلاثاء)، الحياة إلى المدارس بعودة الإداريين والمشرفين، فيما يلحق بهم المعلمون الأحد 16 أغسطس، ويعود الطلاب والطالبات إلى مقاعد الدراسة الأحد 23 أغسطس، باستثناء إدارات التعليم في مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة وجدة والطائف.
ويتضمن العام الدراسي الجديد 6 إجازات مدرسية، هي: إجازة اليوم الوطني يومين، وإجازة الخريف 9 أيام، وإجازة منتصف العام الدراسي 9 أيام، وإجازة يوم التأسيس يومين، وإجازة عيد الفطر 16 يوماً، وإجازة عيد الأضحى 16 يوماً. وتعود الكوادر التعليمية في الإدارات الأربع المستثناة في 10 ربيع الأول، فيما ينتظم الطلاب والطالبات في الدراسة في 17 ربيع الأول، وفق التقويم الخاص بهذه الإدارات.
ويأتي اختلاف مواعيد عودة منسوبي وطلاب إدارات مكة والمدينة وجدة والطائف مراعاة لظروف وأعمال موسم الحج، فيما تتوحّد الإجازات المدرسية في مختلف الإدارات التعليمية، باستثناء إجازة عيد الأضحى.
After a vacation that began on June 25 and lasted for weeks, life returns to schools today (Tuesday) with the return of administrators and supervisors, while teachers will join them on Sunday, August 16, and students will return to their seats in class on Sunday, August 23, except for the education administrations in Mecca, Medina, Jeddah, and Taif.
The new academic year includes 6 school holidays, which are: National Day holiday for two days, Fall holiday for 9 days, Mid-year holiday for 9 days, Foundation Day holiday for two days, Eid al-Fitr holiday for 16 days, and Eid al-Adha holiday for 16 days. The educational staff in the four excluded administrations will return on the 10th of Rabi' al-Awwal, while students will resume their studies on the 17th of Rabi' al-Awwal, according to the calendar specific to these administrations.
The difference in the return dates for the staff and students of the administrations in Mecca, Medina, Jeddah, and Taif takes into account the circumstances and activities of the Hajj season, while the school holidays are unified across various educational administrations, except for the Eid al-Adha holiday.
