عزت منصة قبول وجود «شواغر» في المقاعد الجامعية بعد انتهاء فترة التقديم، إلى عدم اكتمال بعض المقاعد في مرحلة تحديد الرغبات، وعدم استكمال بعض الخريجين والخريجات لإجراءات القبول في المراحل السابقة، أو بسبب انسحاب وإلغاء عدد من المقبولين لرغباتهم، ومن أبرز الأسباب توفر المقاعد. وكانت المنصة سمحت التقديم على المقاعد الشاغرة بالجامعات وكليات التدريب التقني للطلبة غير المقبولين، لكنها حددت شروطاً إلزامية للتقديم والحصول على «القبول المباشر» في الفرص المتبقية، وتحقيق الطالب للشروط الصادرة من الجامعات والكليات وألا تقل الدرجة الموزونة عن الحد الأدنى من الدرجة التي تم القبول عليها في المرحلة السابقة، والاستفادة من الفرص المتبقية تُتاح لمرة واحدة فقط على أن يستمر قبول الطلبات حتى نهاية أغسطس الحالي أو حتى اكتمال إشغال المقاعد الشاغرة، أيهما يسبق الآخر.
ويعقب التقديم وصول إشعار للمتقدم عبر البريد الإلكتروني والرسائل النصية حيال رغبته الجديدة.
وشددت المنصة في وقت سابق على أنه سواء قبل المتقدم فرصة الترقية أو رفضها سيبقى مؤهلاً لأي فرص ترقية مستقبلاً حتى انتهاء المهلة المحددة لإظهار الفرص الإضافية.
The Acceptance Platform attributed the existence of "vacancies" in university seats after the application period ended to the incompletion of some seats during the preference determination stage, the failure of some graduates to complete the admission procedures in previous stages, or due to the withdrawal and cancellation of a number of accepted candidates for their preferences, with the availability of seats being one of the main reasons. The platform allowed applications for vacant seats at universities and technical training colleges for students who were not accepted, but it set mandatory conditions for applying and obtaining "direct admission" to the remaining opportunities. Students must meet the conditions issued by the universities and colleges, and the weighted score must not be less than the minimum score that was accepted in the previous stage. The opportunity to benefit from the remaining seats is available only once, and applications will continue to be accepted until the end of August or until the vacant seats are filled, whichever comes first.
After applying, the applicant will receive a notification via email and text messages regarding their new preference.
The platform previously emphasized that whether the applicant accepts or rejects the upgrade opportunity, they will remain eligible for any future upgrade opportunities until the specified deadline for showing additional opportunities expires.
