توقع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس اليوم (الجمعة) هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة، مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة على أجزاء من منطقتي جازان وعسير، وتكون خفيفة إلى متوسطة على أجزاء من مرتفعات منطقتي الباحة ومكة المكرمة.
ولا يُستبعد تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الأجزاء الجنوبية من المنطقة الشرقية، وكذلك على أجزاء من منطقة نجران ومرتفعات منطقة المدينة المنورة. كما تظل درجات الحرارة العظمى مرتفعة على أجزاء من منطقتي الشرقية والرياض، في حين يستمر تأثير الرياح النشطة المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، مما يصل إلى شبه انعدام في مدى الرؤية الأفقية على الأجزاء الساحلية من منطقتي مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة.
وأشار التقرير إلى أن حركة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، وشمالية غربية إلى غربية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 25 - 55 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من متر ونصف إلى مترين ونصف، وحالة البحر متوسط الموج إلى مائج.
وتكون حركة الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي شمالية غربية إلى جنوبية شرقية بسرعة 10 - 35 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology predicted in its weather report today (Friday) moderate to heavy thunderstorms, accompanied by hail showers and active winds in parts of the Jazan and Asir regions, while light to moderate rain is expected in parts of the highlands of the Al-Baha and Makkah regions.
Thunderstorm clouds are also likely to form over the southern parts of the Eastern Province, as well as in parts of the Najran region and the highlands of the Medina region. Meanwhile, high temperatures will persist in parts of the Eastern Province and Riyadh, while the effects of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in parts of those areas, leading to near-zero visibility in the coastal areas of the Makkah and Medina regions.
The report indicated that the surface winds over the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to westerly in the southern part, with speeds ranging from 25 to 55 km/h, wave heights from one and a half to two and a half meters, and the sea condition is moderate to rough.
Surface winds over the Arabian Gulf are northwesterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10 to 35 km/h, with wave heights from half a meter to one meter, and the sea condition is slight.
