نفّذ مركز الملك سلمان للإغاثة والأعمال الإنسانية مشروعًا لحفر 20 بئرًا متوسطة العمق في أربع ولايات بجمهورية نيجيريا الاتحادية، استفاد منه نحو 95 ألف فرد، ضمن جهوده لتعزيز الأمن المائي وتحسين جودة الحياة في المجتمعات الأكثر احتياجًا.
مياه شرب آمنة
وشمل المشروع، الذي نُفذ خلال الفترة من 2 أكتوبر 2025 حتى 9 فبراير 2026، حفر الآبار في ولايات كانو ونصراوة وبينو وأويو، بعمق يتراوح بين 100 و120 مترًا للبئر الواحدة، مع تزويدها بخزانات مياه ومنظومات تشغيل بالطاقة الشمسية.
ويسهم المشروع في توفير مياه شرب آمنة ونظيفة، والحد من الأمراض المنقولة بالمياه، وتحسين الظروف المعيشية للسكان، ضمن مشاريع المملكة الإنسانية والإغاثية لدعم قطاع المياه وتهيئة البيئة الصحية في الدول المحتاجة.
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center implemented a project to dig 20 medium-depth wells in four states of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, benefiting approximately 95,000 individuals, as part of its efforts to enhance water security and improve the quality of life in the most needy communities.
Safe Drinking Water
The project, which was carried out from October 2, 2025, to February 9, 2026, involved drilling wells in the states of Kano, Nasarawa, Benue, and Oyo, with a depth ranging between 100 and 120 meters for each well, equipped with water tanks and solar-powered operating systems.
The project contributes to providing safe and clean drinking water, reducing waterborne diseases, and improving the living conditions of the population, as part of the Kingdom's humanitarian and relief projects to support the water sector and create a healthy environment in needy countries.
