أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة واستنكار المملكة العربية السعودية بأشد العبارات استهداف عددٍ من المراكز الحدودية الكويتية، ومنصة حفر بحرية تابعة لشركة نفط الكويت، والاعتداءات التي استهدفت القنصلية العامة لدولة الكويت في مدينة البصرة، واستهداف ناقلتي نفط إماراتيتين أثناء عبورهما مضيق هرمز، واستمرار إيران في تهديد أمن المنطقة واستقرارها باستهداف المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية ومملكة البحرين ودولة قطر.
وجددت المملكة رفضها التام لانتهاك إيران سيادة الدول الشقيقة، واستمرارها في سلوكها المزعزع لأمن المنطقة واستقرارها، وانتهاكها لمبادئ القانون الدولي وميثاق الأمم المتحدة وميثاق منظمة التعاون الإسلامي وقواعد حسن الجوار.
وتحمّل المملكة إيران عواقب استمرارها في هذه الاعتداءات الغاشمة، مطالبةً إيران بالوقف الفوري لهذه الانتهاكات للحفاظ على أمن واستقرار وسلامة المنطقة، وتجدد المملكة تضامنها الكامل مع الدول الشقيقة فيما تتخذه من إجراءات للحفاظ على سيادتها.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's strongest condemnation and denunciation of the targeting of several Kuwaiti border centers, a maritime drilling platform belonging to Kuwait Oil Company, the attacks that targeted the General Consulate of the State of Kuwait in the city of Basra, and the targeting of two Emirati oil tankers while they were crossing the Strait of Hormuz, as well as Iran's continued threats to the security and stability of the region by targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Qatar.
The Kingdom reiterated its complete rejection of Iran's violation of the sovereignty of brotherly countries, its ongoing destabilizing behavior in the region, and its violations of the principles of international law, the United Nations Charter, the Charter of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the rules of good neighborliness.
The Kingdom holds Iran responsible for the consequences of its continued aggressive attacks, demanding an immediate halt to these violations to preserve the security, stability, and safety of the region, and the Kingdom reaffirms its full solidarity with the brotherly countries in the measures they take to maintain their sovereignty.
