شاركت هيئة الربط الكهربائي الخليجي في الاجتماع الـ67 للجنة الاستشارية والتنظيمية للربط الكهربائي لدول مجلس التعاون، الذي عُقد أمس الأول في دولة الكويت، واستعرض الاجتماع تقرير أداء وأنشطة هيئة الربط الكهربائي الخليجي، وما حقّقته منظومة الربط الكهربائي من دعم للشبكات الكهربائية في دول المجلس، بما أسهم في تعزيز موثوقية واستقرار المنظومة الكهربائية الخليجية. كما ناقش أبرز الأحداث التشغيلية والإجراءات المتخذة لضمان استمرارية الخدمة، إلى جانب مستجدات مشاريع توسعة شبكة الربط الكهربائي الخليجي وآخر التطورات المتعلقة بها.
وفي ختام الاجتماع، أكدت اللجنة أهمية مواصلة تطوير منظومة الربط الكهربائي الخليجي، وتعزيز جاهزيتها التشغيلية ورفع مستوى موثوقيتها، بما يدعم أمن الطاقة ويضمن استدامة إمدادات الكهرباء في دول مجلس التعاون.
The Gulf Electricity Interconnection Authority participated in the 67th meeting of the Advisory and Regulatory Committee for the electricity interconnection of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, which was held the day before yesterday in the State of Kuwait. The meeting reviewed the performance report and activities of the Gulf Electricity Interconnection Authority, as well as the achievements of the electricity interconnection system in supporting the electrical networks in the member states, which contributed to enhancing the reliability and stability of the Gulf electricity system. The meeting also discussed the key operational events and the measures taken to ensure service continuity, along with updates on the expansion projects of the Gulf electricity interconnection network and the latest developments related to them.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the committee emphasized the importance of continuing to develop the Gulf electricity interconnection system, enhancing its operational readiness, and raising its reliability level, in a way that supports energy security and ensures the sustainability of electricity supplies in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
