أطلقت جامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل، بالشراكة مع مؤسسة الملك عبدالعزيز ورجاله للموهبة والإبداع «موهبة»، برنامج موهبة الإثرائي البحثي 2026، الذي يستمر حتى 30 يوليو، بهدف تنمية مهارات الطلبة الموهوبين في البحث والابتكار، وإعداد جيل من الباحثين القادرين على الإسهام في تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
وأوضحت رئيسة البرنامج، الدكتورة ماريا بنت سالم إبراهيم، أن الجامعة تعتز بتنفيذ البرنامج للعام السادس على التوالي، استمرارًا لشراكتها الإستراتيجية مع مؤسسة (موهبة)، مؤكدةً أن البرنامج يجسد التزام الجامعة برعاية الموهوبين، وتمكينهم من خوض تجربة بحثية متكاملة تستثمر منظومتها البحثية المتقدمة، وتنسجم مع إستراتيجية البحث والابتكار بالجامعة، إلى جانب مواءمة جميع المشاريع مع الأولويات الوطنية للبحث والتطوير والابتكار.
ويشارك في البرنامج الطلاب والطالبات على تنفيذ 47 مشروعًا بحثيًا بإشراف 15 باحثًا داخل 15 معملًا بحثيًا، ضمن رحلة علمية تمتد لأربعة أسابيع، تجمع بين أساسيات البحث العلمي، والأبحاث الانتقالية، وتطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي، ومهارات التواصل والعرض العلمي.
ويُنفذ البرنامج بمشاركة عدد من كليات ومعاهد الجامعة، ضمن جهودها المستمرة لدعم منظومة البحث والابتكار، وتمكين الطلبة الموهوبين من خوض تجارب بحثية نوعية تسهم في صناعة أثر علمي ومجتمعي مستدام.
Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, in partnership with the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba," has launched the Mawhiba Enrichment Research Program 2026, which will run until July 30, aiming to develop the skills of gifted students in research and innovation, and to prepare a generation of researchers capable of contributing to achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
The program's director, Dr. Maria bint Salem Ibrahim, stated that the university takes pride in implementing the program for the sixth consecutive year, continuing its strategic partnership with the Mawhiba Foundation. She emphasized that the program embodies the university's commitment to nurturing gifted individuals and enabling them to engage in a comprehensive research experience that leverages its advanced research ecosystem and aligns with the university's research and innovation strategy, in addition to aligning all projects with national priorities for research, development, and innovation.
The program involves male and female students working on 47 research projects under the supervision of 15 researchers across 15 research laboratories, within a scientific journey that spans four weeks, combining the fundamentals of scientific research, translational research, artificial intelligence applications, and communication and scientific presentation skills.
The program is implemented with the participation of several colleges and institutes of the university, as part of its ongoing efforts to support the research and innovation ecosystem, and to empower gifted students to engage in qualitative research experiences that contribute to creating a sustainable scientific and societal impact.
