التقى أمير منطقة نجران الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز بن مساعد، في مكتبه بديوان الإمارة أمس، عدداً من ضيوف فعاليات صيف نجران 2026، من المؤرخين والأكاديميين والكتّاب والشعراء والإعلاميين والفنانين، إذ رحّب بهم وناقش معهم ما تشهده المنطقة من حراك ثقافي وتراثي متنامٍ.
ونوّه الأمير جلوي بالدعم الكبير الذي يحظى به القطاعان الثقافي والتراثي من القيادة، مؤكداً أن المحافظة على الإرث التاريخي وإبراز الهوية الوطنية يمثلان ركناً أساسياً في مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، وأن هذا الاهتمام يعزز حضور المملكة الثقافي ويصون موروثها الحضاري.
وأشار إلى أن منطقة نجران تمتلك مقومات تاريخية وتراثية وثقافية وطبيعية تجعلها وجهة سياحية وثقافية مميزة، مبيناً أن برنامج صيف نجران يأتي ضمن سلسلة من الفعاليات التي تهدف إلى التعريف بما تزخر به المنطقة من إرث حضاري ومعالم تاريخية، إضافة إلى إبراز ما تشهده من تطور تنموي يعزز مكانتها السياحية والثقافية.
من جانبهم، عبّر الضيوف عن شكرهم وتقديرهم لأمير المنطقة على حسن الاستقبال وكرم الضيافة، مثمنين اهتمامه بالثقافة والتراث، وحرصه على دعم المبادرات التي تسهم في إبراز المقومات الحضارية والتاريخية التي تتميز بها نجران.
The Emir of Najran, Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaid, met yesterday in his office at the Emirate's Diwan with a number of guests of the Najran Summer 2026 events, including historians, academics, writers, poets, media professionals, and artists. He welcomed them and discussed the cultural and heritage movement that the region is witnessing.
Prince Jalawi highlighted the significant support that the cultural and heritage sectors receive from the leadership, emphasizing that preserving the historical legacy and showcasing the national identity are fundamental pillars in the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. He noted that this interest enhances the Kingdom's cultural presence and safeguards its civilizational heritage.
He pointed out that the Najran region possesses historical, heritage, cultural, and natural components that make it a distinctive tourist and cultural destination, explaining that the Najran Summer program is part of a series of events aimed at introducing the rich cultural heritage and historical landmarks of the region, in addition to highlighting the developmental progress that enhances its tourism and cultural status.
For their part, the guests expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Emir of the region for his warm reception and generous hospitality, valuing his interest in culture and heritage, and his commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to showcasing the civilizational and historical components that characterize Najran.
