التقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، في قصر الضيافة بالعاصمة الصينية بكين اليوم، وزير خارجية جمهورية الصين الشعبية وانغ يي.
وجرى خلال اللقاء استعراض العلاقات الإستراتيجية التي تجمع البلدين، وسبل تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في مختلف المجالات بما يخدم المصالح المشتركة.
كما بحث الوزيران مستجدات الأوضاع الإقليمية والدولية، وتبادلا وجهات النظر حيال القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك، وفي مقدمتها التطورات في المنطقة، والجهود الرامية إلى خفض التصعيد وتعزيز الأمن والاستقرار، والتأكيد على أهمية ضمان أمن الملاحة البحرية، والحفاظ على حرية الملاحة في مضيق هرمز والممرات المائية الدولية، بما يسهم في دعم أمن الطاقة واستقرار الاقتصاد العالمي.
وتناول اللقاء سبل تعزيز التعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري والاستثماري بين البلدين، وتعزيز الشراكة في عدد من القطاعات الحيوية، وفي مقدمتها الطاقة، والصناعة، وسلاسل الإمداد، والتقنيات المتقدمة، بما يواكب مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، ويسهم في تنمية الاستثمارات المتبادلة، وزيادة حجم التبادل التجاري، وفتح آفاق جديدة للتعاون بين البلدين.
حضر اللقاء سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جمهورية الصين الشعبية عبدالرحمن بن أحمد الحربي، ووكيل الوزارة للشؤون السياسية الدكتور سعود بن محمد الساطي، ومدير عام مكتب الوزير وليد بن عبدالحميد السماعيل.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, met today at the Guest Palace in the Chinese capital, Beijing, with the Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China, Wang Yi.
During the meeting, the strategic relations between the two countries were reviewed, along with ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields to serve mutual interests.
The two ministers also discussed the latest developments in regional and international situations, exchanging views on issues of common interest, particularly the developments in the region, efforts to reduce escalation and enhance security and stability, and the importance of ensuring maritime navigation security and maintaining freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and international waterways, which contributes to supporting energy security and stabilizing the global economy.
The meeting addressed ways to enhance economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries, and to strengthen partnerships in several vital sectors, particularly energy, industry, supply chains, and advanced technologies, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, and to contribute to the development of mutual investments, increase the volume of trade exchange, and open new horizons for cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the People's Republic of China, Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati, and the Director General of the Minister's Office, Walid bin Abdulhamid Al-Sama'il.
