تأكدت جاهزية 46 جامعة، منها 26 جامعة حكومية و11 جامعة وكلية أهلية و9 كليات للتدريب التقني والمهني في كافة مناطق ومحافظات السعودية، لاستقبال خريجي وخريجات الثانوية العامة لحجز مقاعد القبول للعام الدراسي الجديد عبر المنصة الوطنية للقبول الموحد «قبول».
وأوضحت المنصة، أن النظام يعرض للطالب تلقائيًا التخصصات التي يمكنه التقديم عليها ويمكنه أيضًا تفعيل خيار استعراض التخصصات غير المتاحة، إذ تظهر التخصصات غير المتاحة مع توضيح الأسباب، مثل عدم توافق المسار الدراسي أو أي شروط خاصة أخرى.
وبينت «قبول»، أنه يمكن للموظف التقديم على الدراسة الجامعية على أن يتم تقديم خطاب عدم الممانعة من جهة عمله للجامعة بعد صدور القبول، وذلك لاستكمال إجراءات الالتحاق بالدراسة. وأشارت منصة قبول إلى أنه في حال تظهر للمتقدم الحالة الأكاديمية (مطوي القيد، منسحب، أخرى، وملغي قبوله) بإمكانه التقديم. ولفتت إلى أن معايير القبول تختلف من جامعة لأخرى ومن تخصص لآخر حسب اشتراطات الجامعة، وبإمكان المتقدم الاطلاع على التفاصيل عند إدخال الرغبات.
46 universities have confirmed their readiness, including 26 public universities, 11 private universities and colleges, and 9 technical and vocational training colleges across all regions and governorates of Saudi Arabia, to receive high school graduates for reserving admission seats for the new academic year through the national unified admission platform "Qabul".
The platform clarified that the system automatically displays the specializations that the student can apply for, and they can also activate the option to view unavailable specializations, which will show the unavailable specializations along with explanations, such as incompatibility with the academic track or any other specific conditions.
Qabul indicated that an employee can apply for university studies, provided that a letter of no objection from their workplace is submitted to the university after acceptance is issued, in order to complete the enrollment procedures. The Qabul platform noted that if the applicant's academic status appears as (inactive, withdrawn, other, or acceptance canceled), they can still apply. It highlighted that admission criteria vary from one university to another and from one specialization to another according to the university's requirements, and the applicant can view the details when entering their preferences.
