استمرت المملكة العربية السعودية في المحافظة على المرتبة الأولى عالميًا في «مؤشر الأمن السيبراني» للعام الثالث على التوالي، ضمن تقرير الكتاب السنوي للتنافسية العالمية لعام 2026م الصادر عن مركز التنافسية العالمي التابع للمعهد الدولي للتنمية الإدارية (IMD) بسويسرا.
وبينت الهيئة الوطنية للأمن السيبراني أن استمرار تصنيف المملكة في المرتبة الأولى عالميًا في «مؤشر الأمن السيبراني» للعام الثالث على التوالي في هذا التقرير هو انعكاس للدعم غير المحدود الذي يلقاه قطاع الأمن السيبراني في المملكة من القيادة الرشيدة -حفظها الله- وثمرة توجيهاتها الحكيمة لتمكين قطاع الأمن السيبراني بوصفه ركنًا أصيلًا في منظومة الأمن الوطني.
وأوضحت الهيئة أن الرعاية والدعم الكبيرين اللذين يحظى بهما قطاع الأمن السيبراني في المملكة منذ إنشاء الهيئة الوطنية للأمن السيبراني بصفتها الجهة المختصة في المملكة بالأمن السيبراني، والمرجع الوطني في شؤونه، وإنشاء الشركة السعودية لتقنية المعلومات (سايت) كشريكها الإستراتيجي والتقني؛ رسّخت ريادة النموذج السعودي للأمن السيبراني، وتبوأت معه المملكة صدارة المؤشرات الدولية ذات الصلة بالأمن السيبراني ومنها تقرير الكتاب السنوي للتنافسية العالمية لعام 2026، وتصنيف المملكة من قبل منظمة الأمم المتحدة عبر وكالتها المتخصصة الـ(ITU) في آخر تقرير صادر عنها أنموذجًا رائدًا في الفئة الأعلى (Role-Model) للمؤشر العالمي للأمن السيبراني.
وتعد الهيئة الوطنية للأمن السيبراني الجهة المختصة بالأمن السيبراني في المملكة، والمرجع الوطني في شؤونه، وتهدف إلى تعزيزه حماية المصالح الحيوية والبنى التحتية للدولة وأمنها الوطني، كما تختص بتحفيز نمو قطاع الأمن السيبراني في المملكة، وتشجيع الابتكار والاستثمار فيه، ووضع السياسات وآليات الحوكمة والأطر والمعايير والضوابط والإرشادات المتعلقة بالأمن السيبراني؛ للوصول إلى فضاء سيبراني سعودي آمن وموثوق يمكّن النمو والازدهار.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has maintained its position as the world's top country in the "Cybersecurity Index" for the third consecutive year, according to the Global Competitiveness Yearbook 2026 report issued by the World Competitiveness Center of the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Switzerland.
The National Cybersecurity Authority indicated that the Kingdom's continued ranking as the world's first in the "Cybersecurity Index" for the third consecutive year in this report reflects the unlimited support that the cybersecurity sector in the Kingdom receives from the wise leadership - may God protect it - and is a result of its prudent directives to empower the cybersecurity sector as a fundamental pillar in the national security system.
The Authority clarified that the significant sponsorship and support that the cybersecurity sector in the Kingdom has enjoyed since the establishment of the National Cybersecurity Authority as the competent authority in the Kingdom for cybersecurity, and the national reference in its affairs, along with the establishment of the Saudi Company for Information Technology (SAIT) as its strategic and technical partner; have solidified the leadership of the Saudi cybersecurity model, placing the Kingdom at the forefront of international indicators related to cybersecurity, including the Global Competitiveness Yearbook 2026 report, and the classification of the Kingdom by the United Nations through its specialized agency (ITU) in its latest report as a leading model in the highest category (Role-Model) for the Global Cybersecurity Index.
The National Cybersecurity Authority is the competent authority for cybersecurity in the Kingdom and the national reference in its affairs. It aims to enhance the protection of vital interests, state infrastructure, and national security. It is also responsible for stimulating the growth of the cybersecurity sector in the Kingdom, encouraging innovation and investment in it, and establishing policies, governance mechanisms, frameworks, standards, controls, and guidelines related to cybersecurity; to achieve a secure and reliable Saudi cyberspace that enables growth and prosperity.
