في الوقت الذي ذكرت وسائل إعلام إيرانية أن وفد بلادها لم يحسم بعد زيارته إلى جنيف، أكّد الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب، اليوم (الخميس)، أن العالم سيكون آمناً ولن يُسمح لإيران بامتلاك سلاح نووي.
وقال ترمب على منصته «تروث سوشيال»: «النفط يتدفق، ولن يُسمح لإيران أبداً بامتلاك سلاح نووي وسيكون العالم آمناً!»، مضيفاً: «أسواق الأسهم تحقق أداءً قوياً، والوظائف عند مستويات قياسية، والأسعار تنخفض مما يعزز القدرة الشرائية».
وأشار إلى أن بلاده قوية وآمنة وتحظى بالاحترام أكثر من أي وقت مضى.
في الوقت ذاته، كشف التلفزيون الباكستاني إلغاء زيارة رئيس وزراء باكستان شبهاز شريف إلى سويسرا، موضحاً أن زيارة شريف المقررة ألغيت دون تحديد سبب.
وذكر التلفزيون الباكستاني أن المفاوضات التقنية الأمريكية الإيرانية ستبدأ بشكل منفصل.
ونقلت وسائل إعلام باكستانية عن مصدر برئاسة الوزراء قوله إن وكيل وزارة الخارجية سيمثل باكستان في اجتماع سويسرا.
في المقابل، نقلت وكالة تسنيم عن مصدر مطلع قوله إن زيارة الوفد الإيراني إلى جنيف لم تُحسم حتى الآن، مضيفاً: المناقشات والمشاورات لم تستكمل بعد.
من جهة أخرى، قال الرئيس الروسي فلاديمير بوتين، خلال قمة مع قادة رابطة دول جنوب شرق آسيا (آسيان) في مدينة كازان الروسية، إن استقرار الأوضاع في الشرق الأوسط سيعود بالنفع على أسواق الطاقة.
وأضاف أن روسيا ورابطة آسيان ترحبان باتفاق وقف إطلاق النار، وتعتقدان أنه سيشكل أساساً لاتفاقات في المستقبل.
At a time when Iranian media reported that its delegation has not yet finalized its visit to Geneva, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed today (Thursday) that the world will be safe and Iran will not be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.
Trump stated on his platform "Truth Social": "Oil is flowing, and Iran will never be allowed to possess nuclear weapons, and the world will be safe!", adding: "Stock markets are performing strongly, jobs are at record levels, and prices are falling, which enhances purchasing power."
He pointed out that his country is strong, safe, and more respected than ever before.
At the same time, Pakistani television revealed the cancellation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's visit to Switzerland, explaining that Sharif's scheduled visit was canceled without specifying a reason.
The Pakistani television mentioned that U.S.-Iranian technical negotiations will begin separately.
Pakistani media quoted a source from the Prime Minister's office stating that the Deputy Foreign Minister will represent Pakistan at the meeting in Switzerland.
In contrast, the Tasnim agency reported from an informed source that the Iranian delegation's visit to Geneva has not yet been finalized, adding: discussions and consultations have not been completed.
On another note, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a summit with leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in the Russian city of Kazan, stated that stabilizing the situation in the Middle East will benefit energy markets.
He added that Russia and ASEAN welcome the ceasefire agreement and believe it will form the basis for future agreements.
