أكد المستشار بالتحالف الإسلامي العسكري لمحاربة الإرهاب الدكتور فرحات الحرشاني أن الإرهاب ظاهرة تاريخية عرفتها المجتمعات الإنسانية عبر العصور، ولا يرتبط بدين أو حضارة أو ثقافة بعينها، وذلك خلال محاضرة علمية بعنوان «الإرهاب عبر التاريخ» نظمها التحالف بحضور الأمين العام اللواء الطيار الركن محمد بن سعيد المغيدي وممثلي الدول الأعضاء ومنسوبيه.
واستعرض الحرشاني الجذور التاريخية للإرهاب، موضحًا أن هذه الظاهرة سبقت ظهور الإسلام بقرون طويلة، واستند في ذلك إلى شواهد تاريخية وأكاديمية تؤكد وجودها في حضارات وثقافات متعددة.
كما تناولت المحاضرة المفاهيم المغلوطة التي تربط الإرهاب بالإسلام، مؤكدًا أن الدين الإسلامي يقوم على حفظ النفس الإنسانية وصيانة الحقوق، ويحرم الاعتداء على الأبرياء.
وتأتي هذه المحاضرة ضمن برامج التحالف الإسلامي العسكري لمحاربة الإرهاب الهادفة إلى تعزيز الوعي الفكري، وتصحيح المفاهيم الخاطئة، وترسيخ الفهم العلمي والموضوعي لظاهرة الإرهاب، بما يدعم الجهود الدولية في مكافحة التطرف بجميع أشكاله.
The advisor to the Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism, Dr. Farhat Al-Harshani, confirmed that terrorism is a historical phenomenon that human societies have experienced throughout the ages, and it is not linked to any specific religion, civilization, or culture. This was stated during a scientific lecture titled "Terrorism Throughout History," organized by the alliance in the presence of the Secretary-General, Major General Pilot Rakan Muhammad bin Saeed Al-Muqaydi, representatives of member states, and its affiliates.
Al-Harshani reviewed the historical roots of terrorism, explaining that this phenomenon predates the emergence of Islam by many centuries, and he supported this with historical and academic evidence confirming its existence in various civilizations and cultures.
The lecture also addressed the misconceptions that link terrorism to Islam, emphasizing that the Islamic religion is based on preserving human life and safeguarding rights, and it prohibits aggression against innocents.
This lecture is part of the programs of the Islamic Military Alliance to Combat Terrorism, aimed at enhancing intellectual awareness, correcting misconceptions, and establishing a scientific and objective understanding of the phenomenon of terrorism, which supports international efforts to combat extremism in all its forms.
