إشادة منظمة الصحة العالمية بإدارة السعودية لملف الصحة في الحج أكدت مجدّداً أن الجهات المعنية بإدارة أكبر تجمع بشري في العالم أعدّت لهذا الموسم، مثل كل عام، كل الخطط والتنظيمات التي تضمن سلامة ضيوف الرحمن من الأوبئة والأمراض المتنقلة، إذ عملت وزارة الصحة على اتخاذ كافة التدابير الصارمة في التصدي لأي تفشٍ للأوبئة بالإجراءات الاستباقية، إذ تعد السعودية أمن الحجاج أمناً صحياً عالمياً، وجعلت صحة وسلامة ضيوف الرحمن مسؤولية كبرى وفي قمة أولوياتها.
اللافت أن خلو موسم حج هذا العام من التفشيات الوبائية تزامن مع تحديات صحية عالمية بتفشي فيروسَي هانتا وإيبولا في بعض البلدان، الأمر الذي وضعته الجهات الصحية في السعودية في الاعتبار في جوانب الرصد والتقييم والاستجابة السريعة وتسخير الإمكانات كافة لحماية الحاج منذ وصوله إلى مكة والمشاعر المقدسة حتى عودته سالماً إلى بلده.

It is noteworthy that the absence of epidemic outbreaks during this year's Hajj season coincided with global health challenges due to the outbreaks of the Hanta and Ebola viruses in some countries. This was taken into account by health authorities in Saudi Arabia in terms of monitoring, evaluation, rapid response, and utilizing all resources to protect the pilgrim from the moment they arrive in Mecca and the holy sites until their safe return to their home country.
