«الحذيفي» في خطبة عرفة: لا جدال.. لا شعارات في الحج

The necks of the pilgrims were raised, and their hearts united on the Mountain of Mercy at the sacred site of Arafat, as their hands were raised in supplication to God, seeking forgiveness and mercy before their combined Dhuhr and Asr prayers, with two calls to prayer and two establishments.

A large crowd of pilgrims to the Sacred House of God gathered early at the Namira Mosque in the sacred site of Arafat to perform the Dhuhr and Asr prayers in accordance with the Sunnah and to listen to the Arafat sermon. The mosque, which spans an area of 110,000 square meters, and the surrounding squares, which cover 8,000 square meters, were filled with the guests of the Most Merciful.

Prince Saud, the Mufti, and Al Sheikh led the worshippers

The worshippers were led by the Deputy Prince of the Makkah Region and Deputy Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom and Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Fawzan Al-Fawzan, and the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul-Latif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh.

The Imam and preacher of the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Hudhaifi, emphasized in his sermon that Hajj is an obligation that showcases the aspects of acquaintance, harmony, cooperation, and solidarity among the people of Islam as they perform the rituals, despite their different languages, colors, and countries, as loving brothers, witnessing benefits for themselves, feeding from their sacrificial offerings, and being characterized by kindness in actions and sincerity in words.

Adhering to the paths and instructions

Al-Hudhaifi added that God commanded His friend Ibrahim to call for Hajj, so that they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of God, as the pilgrims come from every deep valley to perform the rituals, seeking to please God Almighty and earn His reward, venerating the ancient house and the sacred sites.

He further stated: "The house is purified from everything that does not befit its status; there should be no immorality or disputes during Hajj, no political slogans or party calls, but rather submission to God, following His Prophet, and purity in both appearance and heart, fulfilling covenants and respecting rights."

Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi continued that on the Day of Arafat, God boasts about the pilgrims to His angels in that great gathering, emphasizing the necessity of maintaining tranquility and gentleness, avoiding pushing and shoving, following the instructions of the organizing authorities, and adhering to the crowd management regulations and movement paths to achieve the public interest, avoid harm and chaos, preserve lives, and facilitate the performance of the rituals.

Aviation monitors the paths of ascent

The convoys of the guests of the Most Merciful to the sacred site of Arafat were accompanied by direct security monitoring from various security sectors that surrounded the vehicle routes and pedestrian paths to organize them according to the plans for the ascent and crowd management of the pilgrims, in addition to guiding them and ensuring their necessary safety to secure smooth and flexible movement.

With complete readiness from the various government sectors working to serve the pilgrims, medical, emergency, and supply services were provided throughout the sacred site, catering to the needs of the guests of the Most Merciful who traveled great distances and endured hardships from all over the world to perform the fifth pillar of Islam, praising the Almighty for what He has guided them to.

Security forces also began organizing traffic and assisting the guests of the Most Merciful, while the security aviation patrolled the skies of the sacred site to monitor the movement of the pilgrims.
