الحاجة مريم أحمد الصيفي، القادمة من البرازيل، عبّرت عن سعادتها بأداء فريضة الحج للمرة الثانية في حياتها، بعد أن أدتها لأول مرة عام 1987.
وتقول: 38 عاماً مضت على قدومي للسعودية في آخر رحلاتي لها فوجدت تطوراً هائلاً يفوق الوصف ويعكس حجم العناية الكبيرة التي توليها القيادة الرشيدة لضيوف الرحمن.
وأضافت الحاجة مريم أن الفرق بين زيارتها الأولى قبل نحو 38 عاماً وزيارتها الحالية كبير جداً، فالخدمات والتنظيم والبنية التحتية والتقنيات الحديثة أسهمت في تسهيل رحلة الحجاج بشكلٍ لافت، «مكة اليوم مختلفة تماماً.. التطور في كل مكان، والتنقل أصبح أكثر سهولة، والخدمات متوفرة بجودة عالية، وكل ذلك يمنح الحاج راحة وطمأنينة لأداء عباداته بكل يُسر».
وأشادت بما وجدته من حفاوة استقبال وكرم ضيافة منذ لحظة وصولها إلى المملكة، «شعرت باهتمام كبير ورعاية متكاملة، وهذا ليس مستغرباً على المملكة التي سخّرت إمكاناتها كافة لخدمة الإسلام والمسلمين».
Hajj pilgrim Mariam Ahmed Al-Sayfi, coming from Brazil, expressed her happiness at performing the Hajj pilgrimage for the second time in her life, after completing it for the first time in 1987.
She says: "38 years have passed since I last came to Saudi Arabia on my last trip, and I found an enormous development that is beyond description and reflects the great care that the wise leadership gives to the guests of الرحمن."
Mariam added that the difference between her first visit nearly 38 years ago and her current visit is very significant. The services, organization, infrastructure, and modern technologies have contributed to facilitating the journey of the pilgrims in a remarkable way. "Mecca today is completely different... development is everywhere, transportation has become easier, and services are available with high quality, all of which provides the pilgrim with comfort and reassurance to perform their worship with ease."
She praised the warm welcome and generous hospitality she found from the moment she arrived in the Kingdom, saying, "I felt a great deal of care and comprehensive attention, and this is not surprising for a Kingdom that has dedicated all its resources to serve Islam and Muslims."
