أكد وزير الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد الدكتور عبداللطيف آل الشيخ أن ما يصدر من بعض الأقلام المأجورة والألسن المستأجرة من المتطرفين والغُلاة تجاه المملكة، إنما يأتي بسبب مكانتها الريادية في العالم الإسلامي، واحتضانها الحرمين الشريفين، ومهبط الوحي، ومنطلق رسالة الإسلام، مبيناً أن المملكة تمثِّل قلب العالم الإسلامي ومحوره، بما تقوم به من دور كبير في خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين، وتحقيق الأمن والاستقرار، ونشر قيم الوسطية والاعتدال.
وأوضح آل الشيخ خلال لقائه بعدد من ضيوف برنامج خادم الحرمين الشريفين أن محاولات التشويش والإساءة لن تؤثر على مكانة المملكة ودورها الريادي، مشيراً إلى أن الأعداء يستهدفون دائماً الرأس قبل البدن.
وأشار الوزير إلى أن المملكة ستظل ثابتة في رسالتها تجاه خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين، والعمل على تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار، ونبذ العنف والتطرف والإرهاب، انطلاقاً من منهجها القائم على الوسطية والاعتدال.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Dr. Abdulatif Al Sheikh, affirmed that what is issued by some hired pens and hired tongues from extremists and fanatics towards the Kingdom comes as a result of its leading position in the Islamic world, its hosting of the Two Holy Mosques, the place of revelation, and the starting point of the message of Islam. He pointed out that the Kingdom represents the heart and core of the Islamic world, due to its significant role in serving Islam and Muslims, achieving security and stability, and spreading the values of moderation and tolerance.
Al Sheikh clarified during his meeting with a number of guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques program that attempts to create confusion and slander will not affect the Kingdom's status and its leading role, noting that enemies always target the head before the body.
The minister indicated that the Kingdom will remain steadfast in its message of serving Islam and Muslims, working to enhance security and stability, and rejecting violence, extremism, and terrorism, based on its approach rooted in moderation and tolerance.
