ترأس نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة نائب رئيس اللجنة الدائمة للحج والعمرة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، في مقر الإمارة، أمس، اجتماعاً بحضور وزير الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات المهندس عبدالله السواحة، وعدد من قيادات منظومة الاقتصاد الرقمي والتقنية. واطّلع، خلال الاجتماع، على جاهزية منظومة الاتصالات والتقنية والذكاء الاصطناعي لموسم حج 1447هـ، والدور الذي تؤديه في تمكين الجهات الحكومية والخدمية من تقديم خدمات رقمية عالية الكفاءة لضيوف الرحمن، من خلال توظيف تقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي وإنترنت الأشياء والاستشعار عن بُعد، بما يسهم في انسيابية رحلة الحاج ورفع كفاءة إدارة الحشود والخدمات وتعزيز مستويات السلامة وجودة التجربة في مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة والمدينة المنورة.
كما استعرض مؤشرات التقدم في البنية التحتية الرقمية وتنمية القدرات التقنية في منطقة مكة المكرمة، إذ شهدت المنطقة تضاعفاً في عدد الوظائف التقنية، وارتفاع نسبة مشاركة المرأة في القطاع التقني إلى 36%، إضافة إلى الاطلاع على برامج ومبادرات دعم ريادة الأعمال وتمكين الابتكار. وناقش الاجتماع فرص التطوير والتحسين وتعزيز المكتسبات الرقمية والتقنية، بما ينعكس على جودة الخدمات المقدمة للمواطنين والمقيمين والمعتمرين وحجاج بيت الله الحرام، ويدعم جاهزية المنطقة لاستضافة ضيوف الرحمن بكفاءة وموثوقية عالية.
The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, chaired a meeting yesterday at the Emirate's headquarters, attended by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Engineer Abdullah Al-Swaha, along with several leaders from the digital economy and technology sector. During the meeting, he reviewed the readiness of the communications, technology, and artificial intelligence systems for the Hajj season of 1447 AH, and the role they play in enabling government and service entities to provide high-efficiency digital services to the guests of Allah, through the use of artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and remote sensing technologies, which contribute to the smooth journey of pilgrims, enhance crowd management and services, and improve safety levels and the quality of the experience in Makkah, the holy sites, and Medina.
He also reviewed the progress indicators in digital infrastructure and the development of technical capabilities in the Makkah Region, where there has been a doubling of the number of technical jobs and an increase in women's participation in the technical sector to 36%. Additionally, he was briefed on programs and initiatives supporting entrepreneurship and enabling innovation. The meeting discussed opportunities for development and improvement, enhancing digital and technical gains, which reflect on the quality of services provided to citizens, residents, Umrah performers, and Hajj pilgrims, and support the region's readiness to host the guests of Allah with high efficiency and reliability.
