نيابةً عن وزير الدفاع الأمير خالد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، رعى نائب وزير الدفاع الأمير عبدالرحمن بن محمد بن عياف، أمس (الخميس)، حفل تخريج الدفعة الـ(39) من طلبة كلية الملك فهد البحرية في مقر الكلية بالجبيل.
وكان في استقباله لدى وصوله مقر الكلية رئيس هيئة الأركان العامة الفريق الأول الركن فياض بن حامد الرويلي، ورئيس أركان القوات البحرية الفريق الركن محمد بن عبدالرحمن الغريبي، وقائد كلية الملك فهد البحرية المكلّف اللواء البحري الركن ياسر بن علي النمير.
وفور وصول نائب وزير الدفاع عُزف السلام الملكي، وبُدئ الحفل بتلاوة آيات من القرآن الكريم، ثم ألقى قائد كلية الملك فهد البحرية كلمة رحب فيها بنائب وزير الدفاع، وأعرب عن شكره وتقديره لتشريفه حفل تخريج طلبة الكلية.
وأوضح أن الدفعة تضم خريجين من القوات البحرية، وحرس الحدود، والقوات الخاصة للأمن البيئي، إلى جانب خريجين من مملكة البحرين، والجمهورية اليمنية، والجمهورية الإسلامية الموريتانية، وجمهورية جيبوتي.
عقب ذلك سُلّمت راية الكلية، وأدى الخريجون القسم، وأُعلنت النتائج، ثم كرم نائب وزير الدفاع المتفوقين، وتسلَّم نائب وزير الدفاع هدية تذكارية من قائد الكلية بهذه المناسبة.
بعد ذلك، تقلَّد الخريجون رتبهم العسكرية، والتُقطت الصورة التذكارية للأمير عبدالرحمن بن محمد بن عياف مع الخريجين، ثم اختُتم الحفل بالسلام الملكي.
On behalf of the Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayaf, yesterday (Thursday), sponsored the graduation ceremony of the 39th batch of students from King Fahd Naval Academy at the academy's headquarters in Jubail.
He was received upon his arrival at the academy by the Chief of General Staff, Lieutenant General Fayad bin Hamid Al-Ruwaili, the Chief of Naval Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Ghuraibi, and the acting Commander of King Fahd Naval Academy, Rear Admiral Yasser bin Ali Al-Numeir.
As soon as the Deputy Minister of Defense arrived, the royal anthem was played, and the ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran. Then, the Commander of King Fahd Naval Academy delivered a speech welcoming the Deputy Minister of Defense and expressed his gratitude and appreciation for honoring the graduation ceremony of the academy's students.
He explained that the batch includes graduates from the Naval Forces, Border Guard, and Special Forces for Environmental Security, in addition to graduates from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Republic of Yemen, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, and the Republic of Djibouti.
Following that, the academy's flag was handed over, the graduates took the oath, the results were announced, and then the Deputy Minister of Defense honored the outstanding students. The Deputy Minister of Defense received a commemorative gift from the academy's commander on this occasion.
After that, the graduates were awarded their military ranks, and a commemorative photo was taken of Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayaf with the graduates, and the ceremony concluded with the royal anthem.
