نظّم فرع هيئة الصحفيين السعوديين بمنطقة جازان، ورشة عمل نوعية بعنوان «الإعلام والحقوق القانونية». أقيمت الفعالية بالتعاون مع بيت الثقافة بجازان، وسط حضور لافت من النخب الإعلامية والمثقفين بالمنطقة. واستضافت الورشة المحامي والمستشار القانوني منصور بن علي الشماخي، الذي استعرض بعمق العلاقة الجدلية والتكاملية بين السلطة الرابعة والتشريعات القانونية في المملكة. وشهدت الورشة حضور مدير فرع هيئة الصحفيين بجازان، الدكتور علي بن إبراهيم خواجي، إلى جانب كوكبة من الإعلاميين والمهتمين بالأنظمة العدلية والإعلامية. وسعت الورشة إلى تحقيق حزمة من الأهداف الإستراتيجية التي تصب في مصلحة العمل الصحفي، وتسليط الضوء على العلاقة الوثيقة بين الممارسة الإعلامية اليومية والمنظومة التشريعية وتوعية الإعلاميين والنشطاء بحدود حرية التعبير وفق الأنظمة، والواجبات المهنية الملقاة على عاتقهم وتوضيح المسؤولية القانونية في قضايا النشر الإلكتروني وحقوق الملكية الفكرية. كما هدفت لتعريف الصحفي بالحقوق التي كفلها له النظام لضمان أداء رسالته دون عوائق. وتخللت الورشة مداخلات ثرية من الحضور، ركزت في مجملها على التحديات التي تواجه الإعلامي في ظل التطور المتسارع لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي، وكيفية التفريق بين النقد البنّاء والتجاوزات القانونية التي قد تقع تحت طائلة نظام مكافحة جرائم المعلوماتية.
The Jazan branch of the Saudi Journalists Association organized a specialized workshop titled "Media and Legal Rights." The event was held in collaboration with the House of Culture in Jazan, with notable attendance from media elites and intellectuals in the region. The workshop hosted lawyer and legal advisor Mansour bin Ali Al-Shamakhi, who deeply explored the dialectical and integrative relationship between the fourth estate and legal regulations in the Kingdom. The workshop was attended by the director of the Jazan branch of the Saudi Journalists Association, Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Khawaji, along with a group of journalists and those interested in judicial and media systems. The workshop aimed to achieve a set of strategic goals that serve the interests of journalistic work, highlighting the close relationship between daily media practice and the legislative system, raising awareness among journalists and activists about the limits of freedom of expression according to regulations, the professional duties imposed on them, and clarifying legal responsibility in cases of electronic publishing and intellectual property rights. It also aimed to inform journalists about the rights guaranteed to them by the system to ensure they can perform their mission without obstacles. The workshop included rich interventions from the attendees, which primarily focused on the challenges faced by journalists in light of the rapid development of social media, and how to differentiate between constructive criticism and legal violations that may fall under the Cyber Crimes Law.
