توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (الإثنين) هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، مصحوبة بزخات من البرد ورياح نشطة مثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من مناطق: الشرقية، والرياض، ونجران، وجازان، وعسير، والباحة، ومكة المكرمة، تمتدّ إلى الأجزاء الجنوبية من منطقة المدينة المنورة، مع فرصة تكوّن الضباب خلال الليل وساعات الصباح الباكر على أجزاء من تلك المناطق.
وتكون الرياح السطحية في البحر الأحمر شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة (15-35) كم/ساعة على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، وشمالية غربية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة (12-23) كم/ساعة تصل إلى 60 كم/ساعة مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط، ومن نصف المتر إلى متر يصل إلى أعلى من مترين ونصف مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكون السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.
أما الخليج العربي فتكون الرياح السطحية شمالية شرقية إلى شرقية على الجزء الشمالي، وجنوبية غربية إلى شمالية غربية على الجزء الأوسط والجنوبي بسرعة (12-24) كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر، وحالة البحر خفيف الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its report on the weather conditions for today (Monday) moderate to heavy thunderstorms that will lead to flash floods, accompanied by showers of hail and active winds stirring up dust and sand in parts of the regions: Eastern Province, Riyadh, Najran, Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Mecca, extending to the southern parts of the Medina region, with a chance of fog formation during the night and early morning hours in parts of those areas.
The surface winds in the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly at a speed of (15-35) km/h in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to southwesterly at a speed of (12-23) km/h reaching up to 60 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part, and wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one meter reaching over two and a half meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part, with the sea state being light to moderate waves reaching choppy with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part.
As for the Arabian Gulf, the surface winds are northeasterly to easterly in the northern part, and southwesterly to northwesterly in the central and southern parts at a speed of (12-24) km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one meter, and the sea state being light waves.
