طالب مجلس الشورى في جلسته اليوم جامعة جازان بمواءمة مبادراتها مع أهدافها الإستراتيجية، واعتماد مؤشرات أداء واضحة؛ لقياس مستوى التنفيذ وتحقيق المستهدفات. واتخذ قراره بعد أن استمع إلى وجهة نظر لجنة التعليم والبحث العلمي، بشأن ملحوظات الأعضاء وآرائهم التي أبدوها في جلسة سابقة تجاه ما تضمنه التقرير السنوي للجامعة.
ودعا المجلس في قراره جامعة جازان إلى تعزيز كفاءة منظومتها في التحول الرقمي؛ بما يرفع كفاءة الأداء وجودة الخدمات، مطالباً الجامعة برفع كفاءة برامجها الأكاديمية؛ لضمان جودة المخرجات ومواءمتها مع احتياجات سوق العمل.
كما دعا الجامعة في القرار ذاته إلى استكمال إعداد هويتها المؤسسية؛ بما يعكس المزايا النسبية لمنطقة جازان، والتنسيق مع الجهات ذات العلاقة؛ لتطوير نماذج معرفية واستثمارية مبتكرة من خلال الاستفادة من الحوافز والمزايا التنظيمية للمناطق الاقتصادية الخاصة، وبناء مؤشرات أداء؛ لقياس مستوى جاهزيتها للتحول إلى نظام الجامعات.
وحول التقرير السنوي لجامعة الإمام عبدالرحمن بن فيصل دعا مجلس الشورى الجامعة إلى تطوير منظومة استثماراتها وأوقافها؛ لتعزيز تنويع مواردها الذاتية، وضمان الاستدامة المالية والتشغيلية.
واتخذ قراره بعد أن استمع إلى رد من عضو المجلس رئيس لجنة التعليم والبحث العلمي الدكتور ناصر طيران على ما أبداه أعضاء المجلس من ملحوظات. ودعا المجلس الجامعة إلى تخصيص بعض قطاعاتها وخدماتها، ودراسة أسباب انخفاض أعداد الملتحقين ببرامج الدراسات العليا والزمالات الطبية، ومعالجتها.
وناقش المجلس خلال هذه الجلسة التقرير السنوي لجامعة الملك فيصل للعام الجامعي 2024، بعد أن استمع إلى تقرير تقدمت به لجنة التعليم والبحث العلمي، تلاه رئيس اللجنة الدكتور ناصر طيران.
مستهدفات جودة الحياة
طالب عضو المجلس الدكتور عبدالله النجار جامعة الملك فيصل بالتنسيق مع الجهات ذات العلاقة، ومواءمة أدوارها التعليمية والبحثية والمجتمعية ضمن إطار تنموي متكامل يدعم مستهدفات جودة الحياة، والاستدامة البيئية، والأمن الغذائي، من خلال تحويل المبادرات المجتمعية إلى برامج قائمة على الأثر وقابلة للقياس.
وطلبت اللجنة في نهاية المناقشة منحها مزيداً من الوقت لدراسة ما طرحه الأعضاء من آراء ومقترحات، والعودة بوجهة نظرها إلى المجلس في جلسة لاحقة.
The Shura Council, in its session today, called on Jazan University to align its initiatives with its strategic goals and to adopt clear performance indicators to measure the level of implementation and achievement of targets. The decision was made after listening to the views of the Education and Scientific Research Committee regarding the observations and opinions expressed by members in a previous session concerning the annual report of the university.
The council urged Jazan University in its decision to enhance the efficiency of its digital transformation system to improve performance and service quality, demanding the university to raise the efficiency of its academic programs to ensure the quality of outputs and their alignment with labor market needs.
It also called on the university in the same decision to complete the preparation of its institutional identity to reflect the relative advantages of the Jazan region, and to coordinate with relevant entities to develop innovative knowledge and investment models by benefiting from the incentives and organizational advantages of special economic zones, and to build performance indicators to measure its readiness to transition to a university system.
Regarding the annual report of Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, the Shura Council called on the university to develop its investment and endowment system to enhance the diversification of its own resources and ensure financial and operational sustainability.
The decision was made after listening to a response from the council member, Chairman of the Education and Scientific Research Committee, Dr. Nasser Tayaran, regarding the observations made by council members. The council urged the university to allocate some of its sectors and services and to study the reasons for the decline in the number of enrollments in graduate programs and medical fellowships, and to address them.
During this session, the council discussed the annual report of King Faisal University for the academic year 2024 after listening to a report presented by the Education and Scientific Research Committee, followed by the committee's chairman, Dr. Nasser Tayaran.
Quality of Life Targets
Council member Dr. Abdullah Al-Najjar called on King Faisal University to coordinate with relevant entities and align its educational, research, and community roles within an integrated developmental framework that supports quality of life targets, environmental sustainability, and food security, by transforming community initiatives into impact-based and measurable programs.
The committee requested at the end of the discussion to be granted more time to study the opinions and suggestions raised by the members and to return with its perspective to the council in a later session.
