توقّع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (الجمعة) هطول أمطار رعدية مصحوبة برياح نشطة على أجزاء من مرتفعات مناطق جازان، عسير، الباحة ومكة المكرمة كما تنشط الرياح السطحية المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على الأجزاء الشرقية من تلك المناطق، كذلك على أجزاء من مناطق الرياض، المدينة المنورة، القصيم، حائل، الجوف والحدود الشمالية ولا يستبعد هطول أمطار خفيفة على الأطراف الشمالية من المملكة.
وأفاد التقرير أن حالة الرياح السطحية على البحر الأحمر، شمالية غربية إلى شمالية على الجزء الشمالي والأوسط بسرعة 15-30 كم/ساعة وجنوبية شرقية إلى شرقية على الجزء الجنوبي بسرعة 12-32 كم/ساعة تصل إلى 50 كم/ساعة مع تكون السحب الرعدية، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف يصل إلى أعلى من مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية على الجزء الجنوبي، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج يصل إلى مائج مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية على الجزء الجنوبي.
كما تكون الرياح السطحية على الخليج العربي شمالية غربية إلى شمالية بسرعة 15-38 كم/ساعة، وارتفاع الموج من نصف المتر إلى متر ونصف، وحالة البحر خفيف إلى متوسط الموج.
The National Center of Meteorology expected in its weather report for today (Friday) the occurrence of thunderstorm rains accompanied by active winds over parts of the highlands in the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah. The surface winds that stir up dust and sand are also expected to be active in the eastern parts of those regions, as well as in parts of the Riyadh, Madinah, Qassim, Hail, Al-Jawf, and Northern Borders regions. Light rain is also possible in the northern edges of the Kingdom.
The report indicated that the surface wind conditions over the Red Sea are northwesterly to northerly in the northern and central parts at a speed of 15-30 km/h, and southeasterly to easterly in the southern part at a speed of 12-32 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h with the formation of thunderstorm clouds. The wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half meters, exceeding two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part, and the sea state is light to moderate, becoming rough with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part.
Surface winds over the Arabian Gulf are northwesterly to northerly at a speed of 15-38 km/h, and the wave height ranges from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea state being light to moderate.
